"Complaint Registered"
#1
I logged in on my character a second time, and saw these words in yellow along with the info about the COTH forums. Could someone kindly explain a reason why those words were there? The only person I've spoken with since coming to the server is Momo, and I know for a fact I didn't do anything to upset her - she's my best friend.

Thanks.

I get that, too. It just happens. I think my addons trigger it.

This is the server version of telling a little joke. It does this a lot, because it likes us so much! It hasn't told me the one about the complaints yet, but for a while it was partial to the "speed hack" joke and the "too much damage" joke (always a laugh). Currently it likes practical jokes as well, like parking the boats and zeppelins in funny places. And then there's the ever popular "drunk bug" joke.

There's also the "you gained 50 happiness from Dismiss Pet" joke, but it only tells that one to hunters.

(In other words, it's nothing to worry about. :) )

Don't worry - it's happened with me once before as well. ;)

Try to never just say, "My character isn't interested in that adventure." A lot of people mistake this for good roleplaying, because you are asserting your character's personality. Wrong. Good roleplaying should never bring the game to a screeching halt. One of your jobs as a player is to come up with a reason why your character would be interested in a plot. After all, your personality is entirely in your hands, not the DM's. Come up with a reason why the adventure (or the reward) might appeal to you, no matter how esoteric or roundabout the reasoning. -(Source)
