Didn't get a chance to migrate your old character(s)?
#1
For those that either did not have a chance to migrate their old characters or has a few you missed, you are still free to follow the same format as earlier for pre-existing characters. This will make it faster for GMs to parse through, meaning a quicker time to get 80 on that character!

Please refer to the following posts for the proper format as well as an example.

Information

Firstly, this is ONLY for pre-approved character profiles. You will use the following template, using a topic title of your character in-game name and race, followed by [Pre-Approved] (Like "Kretol (Orc) [Pre-Approved]"):

Existing Profile: (Link to existing/approved profile in Approved Profiles archive or Wiki)

Any Changes Made?: (If yes, specify in what area(s))

To make things easier and faster for GMs to re-approve, please be very obvious in what has been changed. If you're only changing some history or personality, it will help if you designate the changes in a different-colored text. If it's major changing, like a different personality, be sure to state as much at the top.
If you're completely revamping the character, changing nearly everything about them, it is considered a new character and not eligible for migration!

Note that if a character's personality has changed due to storylines, it's still the same character and still eligible, however. (As an example)

Mordruk Grogporter [Orc] [Pre-Approved]

Existing Profile: http://www.conquestofthehorde.com/forum/...51&t=20251

Any Changes Made?: Yes. In the History, I decided that I would include all recent events that have occurred to him on the server. However, none involve anything that has been ret-conned.

Character Full Name: Mordruk Grogporter

Character In-Game Name: Mordruk

Nickname(s): None (currently thought of, anyway)

Association(s): Orgrimmar, Grogporter Trade, TBA

Race: Orc

Class: Warrior

Age: ~27

Sex: Male

Hair: Bald, with a cropped beard.

Eyes: Amber

Weight: ~390 lbs.

Height: ~6'10"

Usual Garments/Armor: Usually well-dressed for an orc; it's rare for him to be seen in public not in a snazzy outfit and hat.

Other: --

Personality:
Despite Mordruk's bulk, he tends to be more of a thinker than a fighter. He's also rather fond of snazzy suits, and envisions his way of presenting himself (Big orc in a mob-like outfit) as rather intimidating. Despite this, he tends to express himself in a respectful manner, though at times his meanings during conversation can potentially carry ominous undertones.
Secretly, he's a very firm believer of Horde superiority - specifically, the orcs. His primary goal in his trade is to ensure the orcs come out on top, concerning economy. Sure, he may have to deal in some unscrupulous trading and bargaining to achieve it, but he sees these things purely as a means to an end.

History:
Distant past to be added... maybe.
When Mordruk initially came to be of age, he joined a small porting organization; specifically, delivering big casks of grog to clients. Being in a small company, he didn't have the luxury of being provided any sort of transport method, so he had to port the casks manually. Naturally, such labor helped bulk him up, so over time the work became easy to him. Of course, this isn't to say that the company he worked for was efficient in his dealings (as far as routes to take, order of stops, etc).

After a few years of gradually becoming more and more disgruntled, Mordruk decided to start doing things his own way; planning out his routes, changing payment methods, what-have-you. With immediate success in his work, the higher-ups in the organization ended up promoting him. He didn't have much opportunity to take advantage of this before the third war hit, however...

Being the loyal sort, he immediately quit his job in order to become a grunt for the Horde. Due to the amount of physical labor he had undergone over the years, he already fit in with the rest of the grunts as far as bulk, though he did have some training to do in regards to battle. While in the army, he didn't advance in rank very far - probably because his heart really wasn't in the fighting, and he didn't really have an interest in attempting to command armies in war. Therefore, once his services were no longer necessary after the war, and after Orgrimmar was established, he left the military life to pursue a more lucrative and profitable one.

Due to his philosophy and orcish pride, he wasn't exactly opposed to the idea of doing almost anything necessary in his trade to turn a big profit, so long as orcs benefited. Nowadays, he tends to work out of Orgrimmar, making occasional trips to other cities or establishments as business directed. As a result of his trading and business practices, goblins that may know of him aren't exactly keen of him, with some of the smaller cartels being outright hostile to him due to competition. This creates quite the dangerous environment for him whenever in goblin cities, so therefore he tends to take certain precautions with having 'friends' around to ensure his well-being.

Recent history added here. Blah blah blah. Orgrimmar rules, etc etc
