MoP Ending Cinematic

For Horde: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A00jJxhyRY

For Alliance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMd1PPs2UPg

Short version: Garrosh lives, Vol'jin is new warchief.

...I have many thoughts on this, but I'll hold back for now.
Have you hugged an orc today?

Jaina made me laugh hysterically.

Only gripe I had with the thing, really.

That was... terrible.

I actually didn't mind that.
Although I didn't expect Vol'jin to be the next warchief, he seems a lot better than the previous.

Man, I kinda don't know what people expect. Wow's always been dramatic and, well. There you have it. Horde and Alliance united against a threat, and... they still don't like eachother!

All-in-all, I'm content with how it all ended up.

I dunno, this seems like Blizzard is at least trying to paint the Horde as something other than idiot savages. Of all the egregious stuff that's been shoveled into MoP, I think that's at least something.

EDIT: I should've watched it before I said that. Holy crap, that nod Varian gives Thrall after Panda-dude talks about justice. Really? Really, Blizzard? Apparently one of the Trials of the High King is impenetrable smugness, too.

Move him into the sun—
Gently its touch awoke him once,
At home, whispering of fields half-sown.
Always it woke him, even in France,
Until this morning and this snow.
If anything might rouse him now
The kind old sun will know.

Think how it wakes the seeds,—
Woke, once, the clays of a cold star.
Are limbs, so dear-achieved, are sides,
Full-nerved—still warm—too hard to stir?
Was it for this the clay grew tall?
—O what made fatuous sunbeams toil
To break earth’s sleep at all?

it's not like 88% of cinematics and character development has gone down the toilet since Cataclysm.
coughcoughcough

But seriously, this was pretty bad. Everyone is overdramatic and everything is exaggerated and etc. Holding Garrosh trial? pah. Horde and Alliance neutral? whatever.. I personally won't bother adding my input to a debate that'll die quickly just because of everyone's personal views and opinions. But I will say this (and I'm not the only one) Blizzard is clearly appealing to the masses now whereas what they used to do is follow lore and appeal to the 10% of the community that pays for the game -and- plays the game for what it is.

The game started to deteriorate from Burning Crusade, and you can't tell me it didn't.

Yeah the whole "WHOA, OUTLANDS -- THIS USED TO BE DRAENOR" and "BLOOD ELVES" and "SHATTRAH" but Illidan coming back? Get out of here.

On top of that right after killing Illidan we just magically save the world from Kil'jaden. (jazzhands) whoopdi-doo.

Added in the Horde cinematic.

Edit: Also changed the Alliance video to a cleaner version.

I mean, to simmer it down and not get off topic: The whole expansion went by waaaaaay too quickly and progression was too hard and fast for the casuals. It wasn't about lore whereas just to make a few big figureheads look badass and throw in a huge conflict to make it look like it was for a good cause. I'm satisfied to say the LEAST. I'm disappointed that Garrosh wasn't given the conspiracy about the twilight hammer thing and etc but hey, he lived and he's being 'trialed'.

But: Horde and Alliance allying? I can obviously see this last. I wonder how the PvP fans will react if Blizzard is suddenly like "hay gais ur bein forced 2 pve"

I liked the Horde's version better... Didn't have to hear Jaina.
