Regrettably, a rather hefty bug occurred that regarded the playeritems table. With this, it seems folks were getting duped items, knowingly or not, and was causing quite a mess.
Unfortunately, to fix it I had to remove all items that had been duplicated (whether it was obvious from a player perspective or not). This means that pretty much any character that was played within the past day (or thereabouts) was affected, and you may have issues ranging from missing a couple items to having your entire visible armor set(s) gone.
GMs will be replacing custom weapons and armor that have been previously purchased at no charge. Silver token-acquired items will probably be on a case-by-case basis at the GM's discretion. Unfortunately, any items acquired by normal means (loot, vendor-purchased, etc) will have to be reacquired by those same means.
---
The only exception to this are purchased tier sets - if you find your normal tier set gone, find the set ID on WoWHead and have that ready when speaking to a GM. We will be able to add the entire set to you with a single command, so again, have it ready. (You can find the setID by searching for the name of the set on WoWHead, and in the search results, selecting the set will display the setID in the URL)

Try to never just say, "My character isn't interested in that adventure." A lot of people mistake this for good roleplaying, because you are asserting your character's personality. Wrong. Good roleplaying should never bring the game to a screeching halt. One of your jobs as a player is to come up with a reason why your character would be interested in a plot. After all, your personality is entirely in your hands, not the DM's. Come up with a reason why the adventure (or the reward) might appeal to you, no matter how esoteric or roundabout the reasoning. -(Source)
