Role Play For Sale! Guilds, Singles, Storylines, and more! Free inside!
#1
Instead of making the traditional "Looking for RP" post where I list all my characters and what I'm looking for RP with them, I decided to turn the tables a bit. Here instead I shall be offering what Role Play I can give to you, be it through my guilds, my storylines, or my single characters on their own. Let us begin!

GUILDS

The Order of Virtue

The Order of Virtue is primarily a heroic good guild with a focus on both fighting evil and helping the helpless, moreso the helpless angle. It is less about big damn heroics and more on saving people, feeding the hungry, and so forth- living virtuous helpful lives, and not just being glory hogs. Because of this, the Order of Virtue's primary demographic is aimed at Light-follwers, particularly Alliance ones. Non-Light followers can be a part of it too, but they must show an excellent display of altruism and selflessness. Combat does happen, as they are defenders of the weak, but combat is not the primary guild concern, nor is it a military unit.

While not -technically- an Alliance only guild, the guild is currently involved with the social complications of Stormwind, so Horde races will find it difficult to get involved. When the Order moves northward to assist the Argent Crusade or whatever else, then Horde participation will likely be easier (within reason of course). If you'd like to play a villain for the Order, then feel welcome!

Embrace of Shadows/Shadow's Embrace

Embrace of Shadows is a religious guild with a focus on the Shadow, especially as it concerns the Forsaken (though DKs are welcome too, as are other Shadow-followers). It is entirely focused on social and philosophical role play, offering an alternative to Undead RP besides killing things. It is designed to explore the emotional and intellectual nuances of the Forsaken during Cataclysm, and to provide some "good/niceguy" style RP as well. In a sense, Embrace of Shadows is a counterpart to Order of Virtue, but only superficially. Embrace of Shadows is much more focused on finding inner strength and familial bonds within a religious structure.

Due to the semi-charitable nature of Embrace of Shadows, participation is focused on religious followers of the Shadow and "weak" undead characters who are unsure of their place in the world with Sylvanas waging total war against the Alliance. Seek strength in shadow!

The Windwaker

The Windwaker is a freelance sailing ship with a multi-racial crew and a neutral, selfish agenda! Rather unite the races against evil or look beyond prejudices, the Windwaker's crew exists only to ensure their own survival. They have no long term goals, and every day is a case-by-case exercise in keeping your roof overhead secure. This means it is available for one shot adventure stories of all types, and are willing to do somewhat criminal activities if it means getting paid. Consider them a crew of old-school serial adventurers like Indiana Jones.

Of course, what are adventurers without adventure? Role play with the Windwaker doesn't have to be as a crew member, and I can't write all the stories myself, so there is a large opening for players to give jobs to the Windwaker and interact with them as allies or enemies.

STORYLINES

Restoring Stormwind:

A multi-part episodic storyline involving role playing out the quest chains of Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Duskwood, Redridge Mountains, Swamp of Sorrows and Blasted Lands from Cataclysm. Northshire Abbey's storyline has been completed! Westfall is also completed!

Currently in Part I of a Two-Phase storyline in Redridge!

Lost Village of Liwa'nag:

An Outland storyline based around the settlement of Liwa'nag, a Draenei settlement with a curious quirk: it was co-inhabited by orcs. Of course the bloodlust ensured the villages destruction, but some of its settlers survived. However, they've been lost to the corners of the world and put the past behind them...

The Song of the Sun:

The Sunsong family was once a noble house of Quel'thalas, but several hundred years ago it collapsed for mysterious reasons and its members scattered across the world. Only recently has it been reborn under the heir apparent Aryeon Sunsong, an elderly high priest in the church of Holy Light. He seeks to restore the family name for the good of the blood elves, but old wounds may soon re-open.

Those Left Behind:

Cristovao di Silvio once tried to lead a group of people to Gilnenas during the Third War to escape the Scourge, only to be denied access by the Greymane Wall. In a fit of despair, he abandoned those he escorted to their own fates, and never saw them again save for one. What became of the others? Some fell to Worgen, others to the Scourge to become Forsaken, others still managed to survive. What would they say about their hero now, ten years after he abandoned them?

Seminars in Shadow: ON PAUSE

Maeia di Silvio has started increasing her efforts regarding the accommodation of Lordaeron's newest Forsaken. Posting advertisements all across Tirisfal, she hopes to gather a large congregation for a series of public lessons to help inspire the populace and redefine themselves for a new Lordaeron that's about to dawn after the eve of war passes.

Suspended until I better figure out how to stir up more consistent undead RP.

INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERS:

Cristovao di Silvio, a picture-esque paladin with a lot of emotional baggage. Incredibly idealistic, he seeks the good in everyone and wishes for peace on the world, all while enduring the burdens of an undead mother and an immortal lover and daughter.
Plotting Page!

Maeia di Silvio, a well-educated member of the Forsaken clergy and mother to all in need that she meets. Completely conservative and traditional in her views, she is loyal to Lordaeron in undeath but finds herself disliking the war against the living. She seeks a means of higher existence through undeath.
Plotting Page!

Hrodebert Rivermouth, freelance sailor, smuggler, and all around mercenary who is only interested in money to support his family. Selfish and greedy, but also warm and welcoming, he is a boon to his friends and terrible to his enemies.
Plotting Page!

Mathieu Rivermouth, elven stepson of Hrodebert who lived a sheltered life growing up in the countryside studying the arcane. Utterly ignorant of how the world really works, he's eager to finally get out from his family's protection to find his own adventures and love, despite the dangers he may face.

Oraeon the Broken, a bitter and hateful Krokul Draenei who lost his family to the orcs and has secluded himself in the wilderness of Draenor to avoid social contact. Little does he know is that some of his family still lives.
Plotting Page!

Gantrithor, a Draenei spirit champion and soldier of the Alliance. Recently had his pride broken and biases challenged, opening his eyes to the world around him and his selfish choices. Despite this, he still fights the Horde for the Alliance, all while dreading the day he may face his friends on the other side in battle.

Aryeon Sunsong, the patriarch of the Sunsong family and high priest of the Light in Quel'thalas. A former wizard and master of arcane theory, he is wise and patient but also guilt-ridden and reclusive. Desires to liaison peaceful relations between the blood elves and the Alliance through organizations such as the Argent Crusade while avoiding his past.

Balshar Darkdawn, member of the Scyrers, emissary to Silvermoon, and accomplished Blood Mage of the Eranu'belore family. Balshar is methodical, cold, and prideful of his superior elven heritage. Loathsome of demonic powers, he nonetheless seeks out ways of using the fel against their Legion masters so the world may be rid of it for good.

Ferdinand Vieria, low-class Gilnean ex-prisoner and hater of all people wealthy and affluent. Once a street thug, now a member of an Alliance warship, Ferdinand is uneducated, uncouth, but also champions the downtrodden and neglected even if violently.

Hercynian Dreamseer, a slothful and sleepy-tempered kal'dorei druid of the claw with completely incompetent social skills. Unwittingly estranged from his two sons, he loves them all the same even as they slip away from him in his ignorance.

Du'guro, middle aged Darkspear berserker and veteran of the taming of Kalimdor. Traditional, narrow-minded and strong-headed, he serves the Horde out of respect for his people, but otherwise despises the progressive changes made to trollish culture.

Antares of Argus, the Argent Vindicator. Stalwart and reserved with an open mind, this draenei of few words questions the recent judgements of the Prophet as the world goes to war.

Harun Sunsong, a Blood Elf spellbreaker and Silvermoon guard. A boisterous and free spirited veteran of recent conflicts, Harun has taken to the city streets where his exposure to the Horde is minimum and frequently makes light during shift hours. Son of Aryeon.

Sophie Conrad, a Gilnean civilian fortunate enough to avoid the Worgen curse. Free-spirited and a little introverted, Sophie's family lives in Raven Hill where she hasn't many chances for making friends.

Madugo, the troll shaman. The young adult son of Du'guro, Madugo is estranged from his father as he embodies the new era of orc-influenced trolls who mix cultures. He's very relaxed and sociable, and an accomplished medicine man.

Mabok the Wolf Breeder, a Warsong orc who was once a wolf raider for the Horde. Since the Battle of Mount Hyjal though, he's become secluded and aloof, living alone in Durotar where he breeds wolfs for Orgrimmar.

Hotoao, the Tauren warrior. A Bloodhoof and staunch supporter of the Horde, she's coming under cultural scrutiny regarding the Tauren and the orcs as well as how active an offensive her people should take against the Alliance.

Nicolaus Fischer, the Forsaken foot soldier. A common grunt in the Queen's army, Nicolaus is the brother of Maeia. Foul-mouthed, irritable, crass and ignorant all describe him very well, as he seeks little purpose in undeath beyond killing as many living as possible.

Shinari Steelthorn, Night Elf saber-rider. Your typical Kal'dorei soldier, with all the hard-headedness and xenophobia that's expected of one.

Updated with Du'guro, because I forgot he doesn't need to be re-written! (Unlike my other troll, Madugo)

Tykeral would be up for the next installment of "Restoring Stormwind", after what happened in Moonbrook, he's anxious for his return to that whole area.

I'd also be up for "Those Left Behind" seeing as the Scourge and Worgen invading period was a pretty dramatic and crucial time in Tykeral's life.

We need to RP more.
Perhaps it is your imperfection that which grants you free will, that allows you to persevere against cosmically calculated odds. You prevailed where the Titans' own perfect creations have failed.

Restoring Stormwind will return after a few weeks; Elwynn and especially Westfall was a large (but fun!) emotional drain on me.

As for Those Left Behind, we can discuss something on Skype!
