Solar Beam as Targeting Circle/Object
#1
Hello!

So, there's this rather neat druid spell called Solar Beam. Looks like this:

The "problem" is that this spell is a TAoE. You have to have an enemy to cast it on to produce it. Now, while the spell works as is intended, the effect is well...rather pretty, and would make for some neat RP effects.

Is it possible to have an item, like say the High Powered Flashlight, but with this effect? Not so much the silencing, but the light itself.

Hrm...

That would require editing a spell, and -to my knowledge- we have yet to be able to do that. By we I mean Kret, heh.

Hmmm... If I remember in Cataclysm there's a special targeting you can do while in a raid...

Ah-ha!

Granted, I think this requires for everyone in the group to at least have rais assist, and personally I never found out how these markers worked. A good Google search might help.

I don't believe the raid markers work currently.

I tried to use the raid markers a couple days ago. No dice!
