That which makes your glass tremble!
#1
(Reference to what movie?)

Well, quite some time back @Rowgen and I agreed that we should host one or a few events of a short storyline based upon Trolljegeren (Trollhunter in english). Recently we began brooding over this concept and prepare to host when I can make my return to CotH and finish the Draenic Pilgrimage. And so far I've found the idea and concepts really exhilarating and I miss CotH more than even (almost). I've recently also stumbled across Attack on Titan, the anime, which serves as even more inspiration.

The reason I make this post is because I want MOAR! So far, our concrete plans doesn't stretch beyond a short and simple storyline but that won't limit my creativity. So now I wonder, I wonder how, I wonder why, yesterday you tol-... wait, this turned out wrong. What I wanna know is:
  1. What kind of giant would you most like to encounter?
  2. Where would you most like to encounter a giant?
  3. Offer me more sources of inspiration, be it movies or comics or legends or even children's stories!

A suggestion would be to use an Ettin. They have the terrifyingly big and dangerous going on.

I mean, they have a sheep tied to their waist on the model. That's just... big.

An adult ram, actually. And yeah, Ettin are certainly an option, though there are several kinds of giants!

Seems like we will have to do your Outland venture at some point then?
*considers how to motivate my own and others' characters to go there*

The best part is, I don't even think he's dead Blizzard lore wise. (Truly dead that is.)

It'd be a neat little event, and introduce a taste of custom lore somewhat.

Actually I'm not familiar with this variety of naga, got any links to RPGs or NPCs? Or do you perhaps mean simply naga lords, the ones with shells and whatnot?

A Flesh Giant. Like Thrym. In Northrend.

Or, or, or…A Gronn.

Let's fight something... big. Like an upscaled Gronn on the open plains of Nagrand.
