1. First things first! Did you read the rules, policies, and FAQs?
I did indeed: Initially a skim read, followed by the full deep read.
2. How did you hear about us?
I was browsing the Roleplay Gateway forums and stumbled upon the Roleplay Directories, I did attempt to click your link but it wasn't working. Eventually, I had a post to type up first, I decided to Google the address. Followed by the reading of the Rules, looking through the wiki, just to determine if I had missed much.
3. How did you get into RP?
World of Warcraft was my salvation. It was around... 2005's late September, I spent a year or so playing a Troll Rogue, being ever slow in levelling, causing more fun in the guild I joined than anything. I heard a discussion in The Barren's General Chat about what 'RPers' were. Several people slagged hem off but it sparked my curiosity. From a normal server to a roleplay server I was saved from being the, " llz n00b wtf! " to the more articulate side of gaming in MMORPGs.
4. How did you get into Warcraft?
I had been a Runescaper back in the day, retired from it not long after joining. I was reading a review for World of Warcraft after playing the Warcraft III, of which I picked up after playing Blizzard's Starcraft, games, I enjoyed the RTS ( And still do ) very much and was drawn to the idea of playing a 3rd person MMO with intense graphics and what not. My RPG gamign came from Neverwinter Nights and the two entwined, causing my determination to try out the highly rated World Of Warcraft.
5. What is your favorite race/class?
Although I started with a Troll Rogue who I ended up exploring most of Azeroth's maps with at around level 20, I've shifted to enjoying Night Elven Hunters, the idea of a ranged weapon hidden in the shadows? That's what I do enjoy.
6. What is your favorite kind of character to play?
Favourite character to play... Hmm, I've tried so many, but my ultimate favourite would have to be the kind of folk to be independant and commanding respect but at the same time enjoying to be inferior to another, i.e Mercenary / Group Leader and the like, but not all have to be militant, some spiritual ones are good also.
7. What is your favorite kind of RP?
Often battle with the twists of escorting missions. One of my greatest fun was being the battle co-ordinator between two guilds, one of each faction, on a non PvP RP server. Both Guild Masters and members enjoyed the outcome which was the liberation of Southshore. However on the flip side of the coin I do enjoy a diplomatic and political angel on the Azerothian affairs, and when both of those fail a simple relaxing social roleplay is always a must have.
8. Do you have any hobbies (outside of Warcraft)/talents/stupid human tricks?
My main hobby would be field hockey once a week, but to which I am not as succesful at as most things. Poetry, although I have been lazy in that lately; I need to give my quill a dust. Clothes shopping of course!
Singing soft yet powerful songs and socialising with my friends or making the people at work giggle at my antics.
9. What country are you from? (Or, if you're uncomfortable with that question, what is your first language? We don't need to know exactly where you live, just what general time zone you're in and if you need some wiggle room on your spelling and grammar.)
I'm from the valley's of Wales, for those of you that don't know it's the western country of the United Kingfom and has been repressed it's right to self rule for over a millennia, Welsh is my native tounge and English being something that I learnt at the same time ( Not something advised, the grammer of the two is totally different). We do operate on Greenwich Mean Time, same as the rest of the UK.
10. Remember question #1? Do you agree to abide by the rules and policies?
I hereinafter swear upon my harsh patrotism and extreme cultural nationalism, that I shall uphold the rulings of the GM, and by doing so be bound by the Articles of the rules that are detailed and included within the answer to question 1. Both policies and rules I agree to, am byth [Forever]
