Title quests sound long and arduous. If I had to pick one character to earn a title with on this server, I'd choose Xi. She's young and rather green. I would love to get her trained as a some sort of Ranger, Sniper, or Gunner. Gunner would be more appropiate as she is studying under the Dwarven cannonneers (who are starting to take the dedication or her and others like her a little more seriously) to make guns and launchers. I also don't associate her character as having a hunter's pet (she has one OOCly) and have her Marksman specced.

This is something that's been on my mind ever since I read over the titles page in the wiki. Is it at all possible to have something such as additional starter titles as opposed to these prestige ones? I was worried people would have problems with me dubbing Xi as a Gunsmith. Could there exsist acceptable titles derived from more basic of class traits? I know we have a Journalist, and I thought I saw mention of Merchant last night, and I think these are quite harmless. However, you may get a warrior who considers themselves a Fencer, a rogue who dubs themselves a Spy. On the other hand, you may get someone who says "Well, I'm a hunter, and I can track demons, so I can be a Demon Hunter!" from my argument, and that's not what I'm trying to get at. Ignore me if I'm just overcomplicating things in this paragraph.

The thing with being a fencer and a Spy...thats kind of hand in hand with being a Rogue or a Warrior, they use swords and stealth. "Fencer" is saying that the sword style that person uses is the fencing style, while being a spy...well, includes spying. As for you having a gunsmith, that makes sense since you make guns. *Shrugs* Unbiased opinion from a fellow player. ;p

If your character actually makes guns (ie, through engineering) and that's their specialty, I see no problem with it. "Master Gunsmith" or "The Gunsmith" would be a little more shaky. Hoping that makes a little sense.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Alpha and Qaza. Then, I take it a hunter going as a gunner would be acceptable, too, no? Not 'master gunner' or any of the sort, mind you. But, it would follow up with the same concept as the fencer who's a warrior, the rogue spy, and so forth.

The guideline is, if you're not claiming any special or super advanced abilities, you're probably fine. Hunters can choose to use guns or bows, and either is totally normal. (Another limitus test is: if someone else had the same title as you and you ran into each other totally by chance, would it be a remarkable occasion? The earned titles are rare folk.)

Heh, the only title that has ever really gained my intrest was Primal, but thats not one avalable and im not gona push for it. If it was ever allowed? Sweet, i'd take a stab at it. But im fine and dandy, lacking a title. Go after your zerker training and whatnot, i'll chillax right where I am. Besides, you dont neccisarily 'need' a title to RP. ^.^

There is one class. There really arn't any Hero classes for Paladins, in any way, shape, or form. My suggestion is the class:

High Crusader: A Paladin who has so utterly devoted themself to a cause, and to the Light that they have ascended to a higher level of power. They have gained more gifts from the Light, (via more healing power, more spell effects, yadda, yadda) and are also highly proficient with the use of weapons. They generally stick to two handed weapons, preferring the stopping force of a good hammer, or a great sword. They are the best of the best among Paladins.

My basis for the title is, there are several bosses in instances and the like, that are Paladins with the title, "High Crusader." Thus, I hypothisize that the logical hero class title for a Paladin that would be possible is High Crusader.
Hammerfall: Paladin of the Light, head of the Hammer of Justice
Ragnarr: The Stormcaller, Elemental Shaman
DECEASED: Moriela: Evil Shadow Priestess
