Trying Out 3DS Max
Woo! First time trying it out, came up with some... Things. They're medieval and pretty bad, but I made something! I want to add a new model every day or two, even if it's something quick, so I can see the progress I make over the next few months. Thought you guys might enjoy seeing it too, and possibly give me some tips along the way.

No clue how to texture yet, so they look pretty bland, and lack a lot of detail.

This was the first real thing I've ever tried to max in Max, and I think I did pretty darn well considering. It has around 8,000 Polys which is a bit high for something so simple so I need to work on optimization... I have no idea how to do lighting so I messed the windows all up, they aren't modeled as bad as they look haha

I had a hard time getting the crenelations to look right with the least amount of work on the first project, so I looked around and tinkered a bit and foudn a way I like. This one isn't perfect, but I have a few things in mind to make it much better the next go around. Other than the crenelations the other stuff is just kind of additional messing around, seeing what I could get the tools to do. [Image: Castle_Test_Wall_zps12c29188.jpg]
