Under the Full Moon [Event Chain]
#1
Poster Wrote: Recent information has it that a heretical band of shadow-users has taken up refuge in the former homesteads of the Stormwind land of Duskwood, calling themselves 'Darkslayers'. Such behavior is unacceptable, and their presence must be eradicated.

By decree of the Church of Stormwind, any who bring to justice these shadow-worshiping heretics will be paid well, and any who grant the church valid information that leads to the capture or slaying of any bands of shadow-using filth will be aptly rewarded afterward.

Do your service to the Light, and free our people of these pathetic filth. Any who wish to participate in this cleansing of Duskwood will report to Rhord Richardson in the township of Darkshire on the twenty-fifth of March of this year. Light bless our cause, and long live the King.

Tomorrow, Monday March 25th, at 12:30 PM Server Time, the first event of six in this week-long chain will commence. The event will be centered around investigation roleplay and, if combat is unavoidable, then combat will be trusted. All are welcome to attend. G'day you lot, and happy Spring Break!

Rumor Has It Wrote:Rumor has it that a local legend of Duskwood has come to light; the Darkslayers, a group of vigilante worgen-hunters that have taken up shadow as their weapon against the darkness, have arisen from the lands of Duskwood. These rogue-like individuals are currently being hunted down by the Church of Stormwind, and seem to be in need of outside help.

While word of mouth avoids the agents of the Church, those that seem interested in helping the vigilante protectors of Duskwood have been told to seek out the tracker called Blackcrow - one of the Darkslayer's public contacts, it seems. But one will have to be careful, for the Church's agent resides in Darkshire waiting for the hunt to continue.

Blackcrow is rumored to be residing in western Duskwood, and any who wish to aid the Darkslayer's cause are pointed in that direction.

Tomorrow, Tuesday March 26th, at 12:30 PM Server Time, the second event of six in this week-long chain will commence. The event will be centered around brief combat situations, all trusted, with an over-arching theme of investigation and evading capture. All Alliance races are welcome to attend. G'day you lot, and happy Spring Break!

Poster Wrote:The Darkslayers have dared to attack the Church's men and slay one of Stormwind's loyal paladins. Also they have terrorized the countryside by lighting an entire farmstead to flames. This is merely further proof that they mean harm for the people of Stormwind. Action must be taken to repel this threat!

By decree of the great Church of Stormwind, any who wish to locate and eliminate the known stronghold of the Darkslayers are to gather in the town of Darkshire and speak with Sir Rhord Richardson. These heretics have dared to strike at the Kingdom's loyal protectors, and tomorrow, they shall know the wrath of Stormwind's finest.

May the Light bless our cause, and long live the king!

Tomorrow, Wednesday March 27th, after the main part of the Meet'n'Greet ends, the third event of six in this week-long chain will commence. The event will be centered around investigatory actions as well as brief combat sequences. All Alliance races are welcome to attend. G'day you lot, and happy Spring Break!

Seems some issues with my family have risen up and I'm off to tend to them. Today's event will be postponed to tomorrow at 12:30 PM Server time. My apologies to all who wanted to attend!

Seems I'm doomed once again. I'll be off the server tomorrow, and so the event chain will be scrunched down into four rather than six events. The fourth and final event will be held on Saturday, at 12:30 PM Server time. It will be a Darkslayer event, and I'll have the IC rumors up by tomorrow for y'all. G'day.

Rumor Has It Wrote:Rumor has it that the Church of Stormwind succeeded in locating and clearing out the main haven of the Darkslayers, but in a sudden change of tactics have captured all those that they found in the haven of the Darkslayers. The captured Darkslayers are being held under the arms of a militaristic group of Church loyalists in the town of Raven Hill, where they await transportation for individual trials in Darkshire.

Blackcrow seems to have evaded the mass capture of the Darkslayers, and is said to be willing to pay in much more than coin if there are those that aid in the rescue of his comrades from Raven Hill and the successful evacuation from Duskwood. The scale teeters in this delicate moment in the struggle between church and vigilante saviors.

Those that wish to aid Blackcrow's cause will gather in the farmlands south of Darkshire and await his arrival.

Tomorrow, Saturday March 30th, the finale of this week-long event chain will begin at 12:30 PM Server time. This event will focus on tactical distraction as well as brief combat sequences. All Alliance races are welcome to attend. G'day you lot, and happy end to your Spring Break!
