I've been using hamachi to connect terraria with other players for multiplayer. So far it seems to work fine so long as the other players have hamachi and are in the network. Hamachi also seems to work well for minecraft though if I run a server it's pretty laggy.

Anyways, if anyone wants to play terraria with me I have a few worlds we can go to. I have one within walking range of an open dungeon, and one that doesn't have a home but has the wall of flesh beaten and the hallow unlocked. If anyone's interested you can PM me or comment here and I can send you my hamachi details for playing terraria!

I'm up for Terraria, I can also host minecraft if that's preferred.

Just don't come to me for server mods.. I don't know anything about it.

I just know of one server wrapper for Terraria for moar security and some other neat stuff.
