Wrath of the Lich King Vale's Heart [Alliance - Custom Patch]

Vale's Heart

Vale's heart was one situation at the 'heart' of the elven lands, before the section known as Felwood was corrupted. The village was very peaceful, lead by a wise Archdruid, and housed mostly the families of other druids so they could be close to the resting dens. The aid of Warden Thornsnap and her recruits was enlisted some time after Felwood began to change and attacks started to happen to the citizens of Vale's Heart. The Archdruid felt he was needed in the dream more than he was outside and left the village in the warden's more than capable hands. Even though times became hard, the warden and her soliders were able to stop any unneeded deaths from happening.

The village began to slowly withdrawal from the rest of the world as the demonic attacks continued on it's borders. Some druids were awakened in order to lift the village further into the mountains, shifting the land around it to make it inaccessible by foot, though visitors could still fly there. The attacks began to lessen after the drastic move was made and the village returned to what normality it could. Warden Thornsnap's soldiers began to have a much larger presence as time went on, soon erecting guard towers to help protect the village better. Some citizens began to complain about feeling caged in, but Thornsnap did her best to quell their fears.

When the third war came about, the druids in the den were woken to aid with the battle at Hyjal. Though the battle was won, the citizens of Vale's Heart took the loss of immortality hard, going as far as to try to start up a few riots. Warden Thornsnap was able to put them down quickly enough and remove them from the village. After some time, the druids and some warriors returned to the village. Many of the druids returned to the den, but some remained out and active. The village went to rest that night, but woke up to turmoil.

Not many are sure what happened, but they saw Warden Thornsnap strike down the Archdruid and her soldiers driving the other druids in the village to their den. The Archdruid, half alive, was thrown in there with the rest of them and the entrance sealed. Many were scattered about the streets, dead, and many more were in the process of dying. No one managed to survive, even with the aid of the priestesses. It was explained to the citizens as the druids having been corrupted by the Nightmare and that they started a massacre in the middle of the night. The warden and her soldiers were hailed as heros and Thornsnap made the true leader of Vale's Heart.

After the slaughter, the village was closed off to the rest of the world fully, no one allowed to enter or exit. Vale's Heart has been hard-pressed for supplies, but does its best to make due. Only recently has the village opened again, though to those keen of eye might notice that something just isn't right...

Village Rules
  • Warden Thornsnap and her soldiers are the only authority of the village. [PC guards and Wardens have no saw here unless permission is given.]
  • The barreks is closed off for a reason. No one is allowed in unless they have written permission from Warden Thornsnap.
  • The druid den is blocked off and cannot be accessed at all. No one is allowed in OR out.
  • Those who leave or enter the city though unapproved means will not be allowed back in. Entries are allowed through portals to a specific location in the village or through an approved flight route.
  • Thornsnap's word is finial. Do not contest this. If she says something is not allowed, it is not allowed.
  • Citizens and guests are not allowed in the guard towers. [They are blocked off so you cannot jump outside the zone.]

OOC

Originally this village was going to have a storyline to it, but with the coming of Cataclyms and that fact I will not be able to rebuild it for a long time, I'm going to nix the storyline part and just allow everyone to enjoy a night elf village that actually has many housing options for them. The village contains mostly housing, though there is a forge, a meeting hall, an inn and a temple for worship.

This area requires the custom patch for you to be able to visit it. To get to the location, find an OOC portal and click the 'RP Locations [PATCH NEEDED]' option then the 'RP Location Selector' option.. This will take you to a platform floating about Tanaris. If you fall through the platform, this means either you do not have the patch, or you loaded in too quickly. If you can see the platform above you, find the OOC portal on the island and try again. Once on the platform, look for the area marked with an Alliance Flag, near that will be a darnassian portal that will take you to the location.

It looks really great Reigen. Finally some kal'dorei housing with proper furnishing! And where are those glowy/starry veils from? They look really fit in elven forest ambiance. The only thing I noticed was that the elite "Night elf huntresses" were huge, almost double the height of my character which is above night elf male height, could those be re-sized?
