Version 1.9.0 (For WoW 4.2 but works flawlessly on 4.3.4)

Quote:UnlimitedChatMessage (UCM) removes the 255 character limit from the chat editbox allowing you to send extra long messages into chat. It does this by breaking up your outgoing message into smaller 255 character messages.
And that's all it does, pretty helpful!

I remember someone mentioning this addon either in-game or in Skype, so I figured I'd add it on here!

Quote:MessageBoard
A guild-wide forum, similar to web-based discussion-sites. The difference is that this is a 100% in-game WoW addon. It does not need a web-server, or a server-character that is always logged in, or external software, or anything special.

It is often difficult to get guildies to log in to the web-site to check messages. It's usually only the "hardcore" people that bother on a regular basis. This addon will help you. It requires no technical skills at all, beyond the ability to use a simple forum. Just install and play.

Requirements
You need to:
- install the addon
- be a member of a guild
- Search Feature.
- Officer Only Categories.
- Password Encryption of Category Posts.
- Users can set an avatar.
- Administrators can be assigned by officer's or player's note.
- The text-editor supports inserting item,spell,http links.

This is the latest version of GHI for Cataclysm (4.3.4). While TotalRP has the ability to create items (scripted or not), GHI was the first to do so (and probably has greater capabilities).

At any rate, for those interested in GHI for Cata, you can get it here!

GHI Information:

Spoiler:

Roleplaying is an innovative ability that allows you to let your imagination run free and allows your creativity to unfold into meassures that is restricted in other situations. You can be what you want to be, say what you want to say and your actions are only limited by your own restrictions and imagination. So, why should that not apply for your AddOns aswell? Most AddOns work on creating a restrictive fence around you, or by supplying you ’guidelines’ which limits your answer or response activity.

We have a solution. The Developer of GHI saw this issue that people were facing and decided it had to end. He wanted to create a tool for the roleplayers, that would remove the restrictions and limitations from their shoulders, and secure them an AddOn which would not limit creativity, but promote it. He believes that the best ideas comes from the users themselves and not those who develop the AddOns, so he took up the challenge to create this tool. And he did.

GHI is revolutionary in the sense of Roleplaying AddOns in World of Warcraft. Not only does it directly promote your creativity beyond belief, but the only thing holding you back from expanding your enjoyment with GHI is your very own imagination.

The AddOn itself might not seem like a lot at first, because the user interface has been made so simple that everyone can use it. It features a little blue bag, and once you see it on your interface, you are a single click away from a world of possibilities.

We will supply you a few examples of what GHI can do for you, but what really counts, is what you can do with it, not what we tell you, you can. Write a book, a note, a loveletter perhaps a poem, and keep it within your bag or trade it to other users of GHI. Create birthday presents, tools, food, drinks, weapons, banners – everything! Only your own imagination sets the bar. Among the more popular features of GHI, you can also create items that will grant you a buff, which is fully visible to other GHI users. Are you a noble of a rich family with an expensive ring, crest or necklace? Wear it with full details now, and let others see how wealthy you are! Are you a beggar or peasant with certain belongings upon you? Show the RP’ing community exactly how you look! You can create items which consumes other items you have created like food when you eat it, or additional bags to store all the items you come across.

There is no limit to the possibilities of what items you can create, only that you have to think it up first. GHI comes with an easy to read questionmark option in the bag where you can handle the settings of the AddOn, but no guideline book follows upon your Download, because the AddOn is so easy to figure out how to use, that you would not need one in any case. And besides. Were here to end the trivial problem about AddOns setting restrictions against you, by providing you the tool, to think differently, prove innovative designs and let your creativity flow like a river, all with the click of your mouse.

Great pride is placed upon the fact, that others might or will try to copy what GHI has created, but that we still remains the users favorite, despite being the first to bring this feature. This all comes to show us, that not only did we start out being the best solution to end the boring gameplay features that would not allow you to expand your creative mind, we still remain so after such a long time.

Try GHI today, and we can guarantee, you will find at least one option within GHI that will make you see AddOns in a whole new perspective.

Version Beta 0.3

TL : DR - Skip to the bottom download the addon and tell me what you think

History

This is an old tauren game form the Ragetotem tribe that has resurfaced in recent times as the Shu’halo tribes have come together and congregated more. However, it is seeing a lot more popularity after the Goblins joined the horde and took some interested in the Tauren goings on.

Skoll Cognoggen discovered the game while visiting Thunderbluff investigating some tauren engineering. He saw some old warriors playing it and asked if he could join in. He got the history of the game from them. Supposedly, the tribal warriors would play this dice game on long campaigns. They would bet with claws and teeth from hunting and warring band conquests, this currency was eventually called “poke” as that is what they all had in common. The game was eventually called “Prairie Poker” at least this was the best translation from Taur’ahe that Skoll could get. The Eight sided dice were made from carved bone or horn. A tradition that still holds till today, all the best dice are bone or ivory. Also, many tauren uses the term bones and dice interchangeably. Another tradition that holds is calling whatever you use to bet with “Poke” whether that be gold, silver, chips, shells, beads, or whatever else you have on hand. Skoll in an effort to make the game more appealing has changed the name to “Tauren Hold’em.” He is hoping the name will sound more appealing to the his target market of tavernites and battlefield warriors.

Game Pieces

Each die used is the same and each die has eight sides. Side 2 through 6 are what you would expect with pips or dots showing the value of the die.

They look like this
6 - [::: ]
5 - [:· : ]
2 - [. ' ]

The other three sides are a bit different and are known as face sides. These sides are respectively known as The Warrior, The Chieftain, and The Shaman.
The value of this face can change with the type of game being played. It can be lowest, highest, or even wild.

The object of the game is to get the highest 5 dice hand. The order of the hands are from least to most likely.

'Lo everyone! With Cataclysm up and coming soon™ I've gone and rummaged through some of my older versions of WoW to bring up some of my favorite addons. After a few became interested in what I used I decided to wrap all of my addons up into a pretty pack and offer them for you lot to download!

The AddOns included are as followed:

Atlasloot - It's like Wowhead in your pocket! It has lists of every item in every raid from Vanilla to Patch 4.3.4. It's very useful when it comes to making sets since you can click on the items to see what they look like without having to scour the world just to find it's name.

Deadly Boss Mods - This is for you raiders out there. This addon provides pretty much any information you'll ever need to know about a particular boss or instance.

Elephant - Used to record logs up to 1000 lines, I believe.

TRP2 - A very popular Roleplay Addon that can display information about your character publicly.

Flag RSP2 - This is pretty much a basic version of TRP2. If you prefer a more minimalistic addon compared to TRP2, then this is it.

Outfitter - Because if you're like me, then you're going to have 10 different outfits per character. This nifty little addon allows you to save a myriad of different outfits so long as you have the bag space for 'em.

Skada - Another raider addon. It's a way to log how much Damage/Healing you do as well as a hundred different little things.

TukUI - This is a major part of the pack. TukUI is an interface addon that chances the entire interface to a more minimalistic view. Personally I find this to be one of my favorite UIs, but others might not enjoy the lack of customization.

Warcraft Instant Messager - This is one I just discovered myself but oh gods is it useful. This addon allows for whispers to be taken into separate chat windows so that you never need to be confused should you juggle multiple conversations at once.

Also, a special little gift for those interested: The Warcraft Movie Maker. This tool can be used to do fun things like give you a bird's-eye view of the world, or change the lighting or weather of the scene. Overall it's more of a fun toy to play around with than anything, but I figure some of you would like it.

Enjoy!

Version: 3.5.9

WIM is an addon that I've been using probably since it came out! It has been extremely helpful for keeping track of whispers. This version is the last 3.3.5a version made before the Cataclysm patch!

Curse WIM Page Wrote:WIM (WoW Instant Messenger) is a World of Warcraft addon which brings an instant messenger feel to communication in game.
I created WIM over 2 years ago with the curiosity of creating an addon. Since then, WIM has evolved into what it is today, however so many requests from the community were added into the addon which resulted in bulky and inefficient coding practices that took a toll on both CPU and Memory usage. To resolve this, I decided to rewrite WIM from scratch. Each feature is being reintroduced one at a time and being advanced upon. That being said, I welcome you to WIM 3.0.
