Be Responsible. While these books offer great inspiration for character and storyline development, much of the information is either non-canon or the mechanics do not function practically in our game. Use your common sense and again, be responsible.

Examples of Proper Use:
Inspiration pertaining to how arcane and fel corruption manifest in a character.
Detailed summaries on classes and "prestige" classes. Also there is often great information available on class variants.
Crafting devices such as technological creations. Lots of inspiration for things like this.

Examples of Improper Use:
Spells, runes, abilities, etc.
Non-canon classes or information.
The intent to Overpower: Often times, RPG "prestiges" WERE designed to be overpowering and while you may draw inspiration for your character, you must still abide by the server protocol concerning overpowerment. You might still be able to use a concept but may need to turn it down a notch or apply heavy drawbacks.

Now HERE as promised, is the link to the .zip file. There are 19 files in all and the download is roughly 640mb so it may take a while. Interesting little tidbit, the torrent I used to download these files was uploaded in years passed by our own resident Nostra. One of those small digital world things.

Also if you do not have dropbox, it is a very useful way to host files. Be sure to use the link on THIS page. It is a service to your overlord.

You can use this easy batch file to purge your cache folder on a single click. Just place it in your WoW directory and then run it!

It deletes the following cache files:

Quote:creaturecache.wdb
gameobjectcache.wdb
itemnamecache.wdb
itemtextcache.wdb
questcache.wdb
wowcache.wdb

Note that it does NOT delete the itemcache.wdb file, as that would cause you to need to use your goggles a lot again!
