Welcome everyone to the Tyr's Hand Mission Board! This is a device free for use by anyone inside or outside of the Argent Crusade. It offers a number of simple In-Character prompts that encourage characters from all walks of life to get together and fight for fame, coin, or the good of their fellow man. Those individuals who wish to update a mission need only to contact Krilari, who will provide aid in the form of NPC spawning, announcements, and player teleportation while the role of the DM is left to the Player who takes up the Mission. Of course, there are some less obvious bonuses that will help fuel the progression of Tyr's Hand from a simple outpost of the Crusade to a full-blown and thriving city! If you want to help the Crusade expand into the old Scarlet Enclave then look for mission board quests that are looking for Resources or are related to the Enclave. Of course you do not have to fight for only Tyr's Hand. There are plenty of simple quests marked WANTED which look for the head of a particular member of the Scourge, though be warned. These individuals rarely wander alone.

Completed Missions

Wanted: Foreman Marcrid
A Bounty is hereby placed upon the Risen Soldier known as Foreman Marcrid. In the Siege of Tyr's Hand Marcrid developed not only the barricades and defenses for the Risen, but also an array of cannons that stole the lives of many.

Marcrid is hereby wanted dead, not alive, and proof of death is requested in the presentation of his Scarlet tabard and badge. Last scoutings show him taking refuge between the southern reaches Corin's Crossing and the nearby lake.

REWARDS:
Those who return with the requested items are to be awarded with a fifty-count of silvers along with whatever may be looted from the Foreman's camp.

Wanted: Sand
On request of the Quartermaster, there is to be a price paid for any fair quantity of sand delivered reasonably to the supply hold between the chapel and the keep. Those looking to provide must be aware that sand gathered from either plagueland or the Ghostlands WILL NOT be accepted due to their tainted nature. Recommended is sand from the desert of Tanaris, as many craftsmen see it as the most pure of sand to craft.

REWARDS:
There is a minimum of TEN BUCKETS one must bring to the Quartermaster in order to receive payment. Ten is the minimum, however larger amounts are welcome for a more substantial payment.

At base, five silver will be paid per bucket of sand with rates increasing as supply demands.

Demons of the Land
To whomever is brave enough I put forth a request- purge this land of demonic filth! Just a few days ago I, Jacques Silverforge, was roaming the plaguelands in search of plausible locations to begin a mining operation, but woe! As I found the -perfect- location a swarm of demons took to me! I still suffer from their assault.

Where I can not, I plead you-whomever you may be, to rid this land of demonic filth.

The collection of demons, last I recall, was along a hill-like ridge just North-East of Crown Guard Tower.

REWARDS:
For this vengeance I will pay top-coin! Your rewards can be debated. I will happily commission armor, weapons, or give out a fair payment so long as you provide me with the head of the demon's leaders - A particularly nasty Felguard.

Before war and pestilence plagued our world my husband and I had a cottage of our own in the reaches of Northdale.My request is simple- if you have the courage then brave your way to Northdale's ruins and search for a foot locker in the home beside the lake. By Decree of Crusade Commander Entari, Tyr's Hand is in need of dutiful Crusaders to regularly patrol the ruins of the Scarlet Enclave on a weekly basis provided that your regular duties allow, this will come with a stipend to your pay of 10 silver per week. The list of reported threats is as follows:

Remnants of 'The Risen', to be regarded with caution.
Remnants of the Scarlet Crusade, to be regarded with aid.
Remnants of past inhabitants, to be regarded with caution.

A week ago, upon the first night of the year, a patrol of Blazewind's men to look to our Northern border along Quel'Thalas with mind kept to the band of trolls that roosted not far from. While their intentions were simply scouting-related the Commander is inclined to believe that something went amiss, given the select few have yet to return from their mission when they were to be expected a day ago. To those that accept, travel north along the roadways. Let your search begin near the Quel'Thalas Pass and expand outward from there.

Just now I, along with provided assistants, have managed to wade through the piles upon piles of crates that the maddened Scarlets had left in their wake. I would wail that I would've been through this faster had I merely been left to myself, but I digress. To report there is a gracious amount of refined ore to be found here. Iron, Copper, Tin, Bronze Alloys, even a few rare ingots of Mithril were found by the time we were complete. However in other supplies we suffer. Wood of fair quality is almost unheard of in this town, especially after so much was burned in the siege. We will need to find lumber in bulk along with a great deal of stone in order to press on with repairs sustained from the Scarlets.

On a less dire note we will need to find some supply of sand and Limestone in this forsaken land, as there are windows to replace and mortar to mend the stone to the buildings.

Ranked last are ores and minerals that some would be considered 'fine'. Iron, Copper, Tin, Pewter are all needed for the sake of adapting appliances to the homes of Tyr's Hand while also conducting major repairs upon what few forges and the ilk are to be found. On the same tier I list food and fresh water. We have a fair count in our stores, as our Cenarian allies keep us stocked, however it is a taxing process and I would not burden them with the entire city's food supply.

Reports take a great many sizes and shapes within the Crusade, as it's forces are spread all about the world, however most of them end up sent towards Hearthglen for the review of a Commanding Officer. The Argent Crusade - Plague Experimentation

After the attack on Gahrron's Withering, the Argent Crusade was able to get their hands on some valuable samples. These samples contain a blackish liquid, a poison that is responsible for the spread of the plague of undeath, created in the cauldrons by the Scourge itself. A number of animals have been donated for research, alchemists and plagueshifters have been gathered, and a series of experiments are under way. However, a few more volunteers are needed for these experiments, along with observers who can aid in these experiments by being witnesses to whatever results from them. These experiments, led by Officer Ce, will take place in an unused building near Hearthglen on Sunday, 2 p.m. server time.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Due to there only being one DM (me), this is going to be a sign-up event, with the limit being ten characters. If those slots don't get filled up by the time of the event, players are allowed to be spontaneously invited until the limit is reached. Characters who are members of the Cenarion Circle, plagueshifters, or alchemists get priority. To get signed up for this event, you can PM me or post in this thread, with the character that you want to attend the event with.

Born amidst tragedy and warfare, the Argent Dawn was originally a craft of many panicked paladins after the fall of Alexandros Mograine. Once-members of the infamous Scarlet Crusade banded together under a single banner, rejected their corrupt leaders and their zealous beliefs, and sought out to carve their own swath through the Scourge's legions. Leadership in the Dawn remained vague and unclear even to it's own members, giving it the air of a 'secret organization'. However leadership figures stood out as small councils of Templars and lonesome commanders. For years the Dawn held up a fierce, almost suicidal battle against the Scourge as they wrestled for command of the Plagelands. It seemed to be a stalemate up until the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel. It was then that a clear leader- Tirion Fordring- rose amongst the others and called for a joining of the Argent Dawn and the Silver Hand. Together they birthed the Argent Crusade as we know it today.

Even after the Lich King's fall the Crusade has not lost purpose. A great many legions of undead still roam the land, and when they falter the world is still in need of mending following Deathwing's Assault.

We, the Argent Crusade, exist for the betterment of the world we live in. We do not exist as a mindless force without compassion or wisdom, instead we are a union, a brotherhood of living and breathing beings. Our primary weapons are not blades but wits. We do not seek any more bloodshed than what we have already bore witness to and thus seek peace in these hard times. As is our nature we refrain from taking any sides within factional conflict between the Horde and Alliance.

These words should not be mistaken as a sign of weakness. Wound the world as the Scourge, the Legion, or the Twilight Cult have and you will be quickly met with the edge of our blades.

The Crusade is constantly on the watch for new faces to fill it's ever-expanding ranks. It matters not what race you grew from, as the Crusade is represented in every capitol by a legion of recruiters appropriately titled 'Dawnwatchers'. Much the same we accept men and women from any following of life, though demon-worshipers and necromancers may find themselves watched with a hint of suspicion.

Those recruited will be expected to be in good physical standings as such will be tested in the Trial of the Crypt.

Recruit - The fresh meat, the latrine-cleaners, the baby faces and innocent minds. Those who have yet to be tested in the Crypt and, thusly, have yet to prove themselves as Crusaders.

Private - Not all too far ahead the recruits, the Privates are those who have proven their worth to their commanding officers and are now considered full members of the Argent Crusade

Crusader - The strongest, most vigilant of the Privates will find themselves risen to the rank of Crusader. These soldiers are the elite of the Crusade and stand out as fine representations of the Tenants.

Crusader-Champion - A rank reserved for the wise and tactical, the Crusader-Champion exemplifies a body crafted for warfare and a mind sharp enough to wage it. These select few are the officers of the outfit and are surpassed only by the Commander.

Commander - The big cheese, the boss. Currently filled by Krilari Dawnsend, the Commander is left in control of the entire outfit, including promotions, demotions, and of course discharges.

  1. Neutrality while carrying the Argent Banner is not an option, but an order.
  2. Respect your superiors.
  3. Issues with Officers should be brought to the Commander's attention. Likewise, issues with the commander should be brought to the officers.
  4. Orders should be completed without hesitance.
  5. The enlisted should be ready and able to complete a mission at a moment's notice.
