Hey there CotH. It's been a year, and instead of fixing my other feedback threads I decided to just go ahead and post a new one, because why not? That's why.

Below I only list approved characters, otherwise I'd be coming in here and editing the post daily. I create a concept, RP it once, delete it- That's no me gusta! Anyway, go ahead and leave your thoughts on me and my characters.

Nooken Gearhead
Jinks Fizzlewop
Urr Rockfist

Sidenote - I'm all for criticism, so long as it's constructive. Dislike the way I do something? Let me know and let me know why, and if you have any suggestions on how I can fix this.

I don't mind a bit of hurt so long as it isn't just. "You suck."

Writing - Likely one of the hardest things in the world for me to do.

This isn't just a remake of the last thread I did were I asked for your opinions on my RPing and what not, instead I'm posting something of which I think is non-typical for a feedback request. I'll do my best to explain my dilemma and what I'm asking for, mind you that writing is one of the hardest things in the world for me to do. If you need any clarification on what my 'problem' is or what I'm asking for then do not hesitate to ask, it'll only end up giving me the help I think I need faster.

I'm not sure how many other people feel this way, and without trying to sound disrespectful I do not care either. I'm not trying to see how many people relate to me that way I do not feel singled out, or trying to find out how many people understand the 'struggle' (if you can even call it that.) that I face with writing.

With all of those shenanigans out of the way I will now explain what my problem is and what I'm looking for.

- The Problem

I'm not very confident in my writing skills, not at all; I constantly write replies on threads on the forums yet never click that post button because I'm not confident with what I've produced in writing. There have been times were I thought I had a really strong response which I've spent hours working on that I've just failed to post because I'm not confident enough that I'm answering the question(s), or that the post makes any sense itself.

"Wait, so why don't you just post the stuff you're not confident about here? We'll give you feedback!"

Anxiety, I don't want everyone in the forums being able to see something that I feel silly about and I wasn't even sure if I should have posted it in the first place. Plus it doesn't make much sense to me if I were to take a response I wasn't confident about and post it somewhere else, it likely won't happen.

- The Solution

I'm definitely not asking someone to sit around and baby me, correct every single mistake I make, or read every single piece of writing a produce. I would however like someone who's willing to take the time to talk with me whenever I'm feeling like my response isn't good enough, and sometimes even reading over some of the responses before I post them. I'm not asking for someone to actively read my posts and only my posts, but perhaps the person that I'm talking with runs over one of my more recent posts. Poke me on Skype and let them know what they thought about it.

- Ending Note

As I've said in the beginning of this post, writing is one of the hardest things in the world for me to do. I apologize if anything that's written is hard to understand, if you need me to reiterate or clarify something then quote it and ask. Thanks for taking your time to read, this post was hard for me to make.

Sorry I spent my first week back just complaining and whining about myself instead of RPing. I've been considering doing this, SO: this is a list of my current characters, the basic gist of them, and the areas I want to work on with them. Using this as a basis, I want to hear who people are most interested in seeing around and interacting with, and suggestions for them!

Beivah (Dwarf, Death Knight): Apathetic one-liner factory, but not emo. Trying to get a feel of playing her in a more interesting way and not making her feel like the DK everyone has seen a hundred times.

Griff (Dwarf, Shaman): Jovial free-spirited wanderer. Does not like the Horde, especially undead. For a man who goes everywhere, the hesitation in front of the Horde is limiting his range.

Azol'thun (Draenei, Priest): Patient, parental, wise. Of which I am none of those things so I risk sounding dumb when he tries to give "advice" which is his job. Hates the Horde, especially orcs. Doesn't get around much outside of Stormwind, the Exodar, or maybe Shattrath. As you can see I kind of wrote myself into a corner with him.

Nifti (Gnome, Warrior): New character I wanted to try. Thought of having her being short-tempered, but I don't have the guts for that. Otherwise a cheery roamer. Doesn't care one way or another about the Horde.

Lotta (Goblin, Hunter): Candy-addicted mercenary. Likes flirting with big strong guys, is a bit of a sass, likes hearing about scandal and drama. Doesn't care one way or another about the Alliance. I want to be able to be funny with her, but for some reason unlike with Beivah I don't feel like I could do her rapid-fire goblin-sass justice.

Lucen (Blood Elf, Mage): New character, a mix of a character I like using for romantic Skype RPs and and alt I liked trolling retail RP with. Overweight, gluttonous, but still vain and flirty, swings both ways. Doesn't care for either faction. And being a snooty elf with weight issues, he wouldn't be seen anywhere outside of Silvermoon City. (Yeah, what a good idea right.) Originally intended a Gaston-like personality, but again I just can't be a jerk. Being a new character I still have no clue how he'd have the funds to indulge himself so much, I'm afraid of the rules applying to nobility.

Characters I'd want to try but feel nervous exploring:

-more angry Horde types (orc, troll, undead); Old Horde cultures are intimidatingly huge and I'm afraid of looking dumb, since I've made mistakes before based on misinformation or lack of information. Also I'd feel too nervous and guilty about playing a mean-spirited character.

-a "neophyte" character: I love the trope of the humble hero who's thrown into a long journey of discovery. I want to start from blank-slate, just a normal person with naive worldviews gradually discovering the way the world really is and learning about the different cultures and encountering things that could change their perspectives and even personality. But as I always say, every race has been through so much crap it's impossible to make someone who starts off relatively normal. Or maybe I'm just not seeing how with my inexperiences.

So that's about as much as I can think of right now. Feel free to drop a line about any of this stuff I just rambled about. o7

Feel free to drop a line about any of this stuff I just rambled about. o7

Holy crap, I've been here a little over a year, that flew by pretty fast but I guess that's what happens when you're having fun right? Go ahead and leave your feedback for either individual characters or me as a player. Go ahead and be brutally honest, I'm not gonna learn anything if you're beating around the bush!

My characters:

Tykeral "Morty" Kerickson - It's funny to see how much Tyke has changed since I rolled him. From stereotypical eye-patch 2edgy throat ripping mercenary to a sort of normal guy who talks with everyone, you wouldn't know he's a mercenary from talking to him. Most recently I've been playing him a bit different after joining the Order of Virtue and I have an idea of where I want him to end up. What do you guys think about my main (virtual) man (Worgen)?

Sarvi Gorehide - Sarvi was made for no other reason than I wanted to join in at Tol'Barad and the horde were severely out numbered that certain event day. "I'll make a Tauren Death Knight, that's not so hard with lore right?" Sarvi has been my character that I have the hardest time RPing because I can't find out how/why to play him. Drop me some feedback on this guy if you have actually RP'd with him since he's the one I'd like to improve the most.

Takoda Skychaser - If I didn't main Tykeral, I'd definitely main Takoda. Like Tykeral, when I started Takoda, he was nothing more than just a one emotion character that filled one little niche. I like the way he's come out but he's got a bit to go before I feel like he's really where I want him. He should get a bit closer after some RP he's got coming up. I've really enjoyed my time with him in the Earthworks. Let me know what you guys think about my grumpy Tauren Alchemist.

Corday Lorden- I like the RP I have with Corday. I can develop him more but I'm happy where he is. He's my least played character but I really like him. Drop some feedback on my Worgen Medic!

Character graveyard (in case you were wondering what happened to that one character):

Koel Shiverbite- really bland and had no idea what to do with him. I -may- revive this Death Knight for the sake of having a Worgen Death Knight.

Hank- Hank was a part of Tol'Barad with an event involving a couple prisoners escaping the prison. I had some people say they liked his cockiness/accent but I honestly didn't like him.

Tyzurius- I wouldn't mention Tyzurius but he was my very first character here. I made so many blunders and crap on him, I just forgot about him.

Thanks ya much CotH-ians!

Hello there Ladies and Gentlemen of CotH, my name is Paylonas. I'm pretty new to CotH as of the time I post this (Joined 1/10/2014), but I do plan on staying and continuing to RP with this awesome community. Now that I've gotten the introductions out of the way, let us get down to business.

I do appreciate negative feedback as it can help me become a better player and RPer overall, however there is a fine line between constructive criticism and just being a jerk, if you don't like me or have some beef with me for some reason just let me know why. I'll be sure to reflect upon it and try and see from your point of view, mind you that I am my own person and I won't cater to every single persons needs. I will however to my best to tailor myself into someone who everyone enjoys RPing with.

With that said, leave any feedback you deem necessary. Here are my current characters, and I will update it as characters are approved.

Very creative thread title, I know!

Anyway, it's been over a month since I began roleplaying again on CoTH (almost two, in fact), and, while that is not a very extensive period of time, I would appreciate getting some feedback from fellow CoThers, as I am always looking forward to improving my roleplay (and I'll be forever unsure if I'm doing it right!) and myself.

Although most info can be found on my CoTH wiki page *points to signature*, here's a short summary of the characters I've been roleplaying lately:

Spoiler:

Grazmot Windseeker - Not the smartest orc in the block, but he is friendly and willng to learn. Also, he is a bit (a lot) of a shamanism fanboy, thanks to the tales he heard about it while he was young, and his own admiration of the possibilities that the craft bring to his people. He works as a 'pig herder' in a farm near Orgrimmar as he waits to continue his training.

Nikuun - This goat needs to get some personality. I'm serious - his blandness is, in fact, one of his traits. He is also too polite for his own good, but at least he is a nice fellow. Except that, no matter how hard he tries to please others, he won't laugh at your jokes. He rarely understands them, period. Haven't RPd with him too much lately.

Durgan Mudbeard - Dwarfie of the Regiment with an embarrassing liver problem.

Rolland Evans - You could say he's sort of what was born after the 'Samuel experiment', although the two of them are very different. He's a big crybaby who dislikes exercising, super tall, nerdy, and all that jazz. Works for the Golden Quill.

Samuel - He's going to be put aside, most likely. I've already salvaged most of the things I liked about him and put it on other less experimental characters. I still RPd with him a bit, though.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
