I have a wow client updated all the way but i can't for the life of me find a realmlist or a different WoW installer with it already there. It's quite frustrating because this seems like a great private server.

I genuinely doubt any of you really know me at all, I came here years ago. I wanted to dearly, sincerely play. However, I couldn't get into things. I couldn't find anyone to interact with. That was my fault, I should have pressed more to attempt to get involved with things.

However, I caught wind via Skype that there was the DMCA notice. I quit Warcraft roleplay for awhile. Bounced between all of the other servers out of curiosity before I found SWTOR three years ago and that has maintained my attention since then.

I wanted to come here to apologize, to anyone affected by this. I didn't have the opportunity to do much, but it's bittersweet nonetheless that something like this is happening. From everything I've read, this was a great community. It'll continue to live on I imagine, friends you make tend to stick with you.

I have a few from others that stuck with me.

If there is another place we go to play, I'd like to have the chance to do things with anyone in this community. Perhaps in the future, that might be able to be entertained.

I'm vaguely familiar with how everything works (had an account registered back in 2009, then later re-registered somewhere in 2013 but didn't get around to doing anything due to irl.)

I've been looking closely at the starting guidelines and all of that, and the first thing on the to-do list is making an introduction thread. Problem being I can't. It'd be nice if someone could lend me a hand here. (:

Jumping in as a new player, here! Just me and my fiancee. I'm really looking forward to it! I want to meet each and every one of y'all. And hug everybody. ...Everybody. There will be hugs! Hello!

First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Well, I'm mostly casual in terms of gameplay on WoW. I'm into roleplay, and PvE. A mix of the two is what I love the most, especially the one event I took part in with an old Stormwind Brigade guild, where we aided in defending ironforge from the horde raid at the gate. It was great.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I'm british, technically. My mother was italian, and my father was a mix of many things, not including britain. I speak english only, and only a little bit of french.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
Well, my friend bought me World of Warcraft back when it was first released, and that was after I had played Warcraft 3 for about a year. It was my favourite game until I played Skyrim, and Diablo II / III.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
I started private servers with one named Divinity-x, which I joined about a year ago. Not bad, but I had to leave due to toxicity and a rather bad administrator team. After that, I moved on to others such as one created by my friend, who completely revamped all of azeroth in 3.3.5a. I'm currently an admin there, and we're getting ready to expand to a larger playerbase. Earlier today I was searching for a decent server that has a lot of horde roleplay. Which, luckily, was this server. "wotlk rp server" seemed to do it.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
RPPvE is really fun in my opinion. Arenas, even if it's regular RP. Actually, most roleplay as long as it isn't pretending to be a random made up kingdom in the middle of nowhere. The PTR doesn't really supply much roleplay of high quality.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
To be honest, either Orc or Pandaren, for race. Orcs because I've always been a fan of the brutish barbarians, who fight for honor and the glory of combat. It seemed like something I'd do if I were to become any fantasy race. The pandaren purely because I am in love with chinese history and culture. It makes me so happy to see it involved in Warcraft once more. Class? Deathknight or Monk. Deathknights are somewhat relatable, due to my Asperger's, I'm not that great with empathy, or conveying emotion. They're total outcasts, and they're incredibly powerful. Not to mention, glowing blue eyes and the blood of old gods! Monks are fantastic to roleplay because of their variety of abilities and skills. They're also great tutors and are wonderfully wise a lot of the time.

What are your expectations of this server?:
A respectful, helpful community with minimal judgement-on-first-glance, toxicity and rudeness. I hope to see great horde roleplay, and fantastic memories for me to enjoy when I'm finally done with gaming.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Respect. I believe it's the most important part of a community, and to be honest, I hope to convey it, along with some friendly banter, to a great community.

Uh... okay.
So, once I was at an event, back on Divinity-x. I had just joined a rather fantastic guild named The Darkfallen, which was custom-lore based. By that I mean, the guild master decided that two of the "unknown" status Darkfallen were alive and kicking in Deatholme. We enjoyed some brilliant times together, and we did a lot of events, missions and even battles with other guilds! I loved it, and taking the role of Prince Atherann, I even usurped power (IC of course, wouldn't steal a guild from a friend!) and gained control of Deatholme.
In the end, however. I decided to leave, and allowed Theraldis, the guildmaster, to take control once more. It was sad, having to leave, but I think it was for the best. I mean, I got to apply for CotH, and I'm hoping to have great times here!

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Okay, so I'm gonna say that I'm often sarcastic, occasionally a bit on-edge, due to some issues I'm going through at the moment. Not to mention my sense of humour is a bit passive-aggressive, and when I seem rude, it's just me trying to be, well, humourous.
Also, what kind of races are available? The regular horde races from WotLK? And if so, am I able to join non-playable orc factions such as Mag'har, or Mok'nathal, or even Fel Orc?[/b]

As a role-player, I'm actually new. I always played more PvE oriented & only did PvP where needed or expected by other gamers. With this new beginning i want to evolve to a PvE Role-player. I hope to get help with this where needed.

I'm coming' from Belgium, West Europe known in America for Bastogne or for the waffles.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
I had always been a massive fan of fantasy, so I started playing WoW. I played The Burning Crusade at first but as the server evolved to Wrath of the Lich King i evolved with it. Then it went down under & i stopped playing. I started playing again about a year ago on a Cataclysm Server but a few month ago that went down under as well. I am here to try both the Cataclysm as the Wrath of the Lich King realms.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?
I found your server actually a long time ago , but as i was more interested in a quick PvE experienced the process of getting accepted here was way to complicated. However now i feel need for a new challenge, like getting an account here .... erghm ... getting into role-playing.

What kinds of role-play do you enjoy?:
I really want to be an elven or Blood Elven craftsman who eventually gets a wife & who isn't into the ancient battle between Horde & Alliance so much & tries to be friends with both, I like to be accepted in all cities as a friend to everybody. However the Enemies of both like the demons , outcasts or Pirates are my enemies

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
My favorite race would be any kind of elven, however i tend to like Orcs & humans as well. Trolls, Undead & Gnomes aren't my favorites. Late events has shown me to be a worgen fan as well. Hunters & Mages have been among my favorite class, but i like Paladins & Warriors also.

What are your expectations of this server?:

My favorite rule is the one i have avoided on all servers before, it is the fact you need to stay into Character & obey the rules of game play.I have to tell though on other non role-play servers though i also tried to stay into character mostly.

"Wolverus, a Worgen Hunter, had been gone for days. After the failed attack on the Worgen & Elven base camp by the Demon Hadethion & his minions He tracked the running Demon & it's minions away from the base camp. He had been alone with his faith full companion Kar, a forest Worg tamed & trained. The others had been helping out each other, tending the wounded & bolstering the camps defenses back to what they was before the attack. Eventually a group was assembled to follow in Wolverus' footstep, did he need assistance, would they still be able to find him. They didn't had a good hunter to track Wolverus, he was their only hunter, so they depended on Magic to find him. 3 warriors, a Palladin, a druid & a mage went on the queste.Sometimes the tracks were obvious & present, sometimes magic was needed to show the washed out tracks but the group was able to follow in Wolverus footsteps. The path was long, far to long, after a few days the found a cave, no more tracks & magic seemed to be blocked. As they enter the cave they could feel the chill coming over them,they could smell the smell of steel being forged or used in battle, they could here battle cries of minions, it all came from deep in the cave. Suddenly they spotted the demon, killed by arrows & an Axe, it was Walverus' Axe, as they came closer to the dead Demon, they saw the Minions surrounding a big rock they could not clime. On top of it was a wounded Hunter & his pet, Wolverus was short on Ammo. It was up to them to save their Friend & his pet. The Druid handed out some portions to the fighters & stayed behind with the Mage. The Palladin leaded the attack,the warriors sounded the attack, all hell broke loose, again...........

Curious about a few things

So while I sit around waiting for my Introduction post to be approved, I figured I'd post up a few little questions I've had popping up in my brainbox.

First off is the matter of EXP rates. I noticed that you cannot level past 50 without an approved character profile. I'm not too concerned about that as I went and wrote up a detailed character profile for my first character to post as soon as I get the ability to. But is the whole experience of leveling still kept pretty blizz-like? Or did EXP rates get a boost anywhere? I ask because I read about approved characters having the option to be boosted to 80, so I'm trying to decide if I want to take the time to level or if it'll be too much of a hassle and I should boost when I manage to get approved. Plus it seems most private servers love to boost the EXP rates and sometimes I found that annoying because you'll out-level all your quests and gear in no time flat.

I was also curious about the obtaining of RP items, or transmog gear. In Live WoW, I had a friend help me run through old BC raids in order to get the set pieces I wanted for my shaman. But here I noticed you have some kind of command system that lets you pull items within a particular range. So I was wanting to get a feel for how the community manages to select their RP gear. Do you look up the numbers and pull from the commands mostly? Or are there some things you'll go out and try to get via drops?

Beyond all that, I'm mostly just curious if there are any dungeons, quests, or other content that's not working properly and I should avoid when I get in. Wouldn't want to go wandering in somewhere that's broken and get glitched out.

Now I shall go back to waiting eagerly to see if my Introduction gets approved soon!

Is it inadvisable to use an excerpt from a story that I've been working on?

I can write something new and WoW-related for it, but I know I'll end up fussing over getting it as perfect as possible and I'll admit I'm antsy to get my application in.

If there's a preference toward content written specifically for the application, though, I can hold off until I have something new of decent quality to post.

Well, I've played on retail wow for about a year then i moved on to Molten wow a private server for nearly 3 years and i learnt to rp there. I played in many rp servers, and im pretty awesome :P.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?: The United Kingdom, English (obviously :P)

How did you get into Warcraft?:
Well i played Since wow Since wotlk. And my friends and i play Warcraft III all the time, and we always do Roleplay matches its amazingly fun! 4 years and counting!

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?: I play molten wow which is not a Rp server although i do rp there with my guild. My friend told me about this Private server and how awesome it is! so i thought ill give it a try out! im really excited!

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
Well honestly i enjoy all types of roleplay but obviously i dont want to fight a lot because when it comes to fighting im the best. :P

What is your favorite race/class? Why?: Hmmm tricky...
well Paladin and Death knights (sometimes rogues or warriors).
Because i love the lore they have involved in them, also they are awesome :P

What are your expectations of this server?:
Well im expecting a server which can deal with Drama... unlike molten wow.... and im expecting lots of rp and fun!

My son would always ask me to take him to the Sunwell he always wanted to see the shining light and the beauty of it.... Everyday he would brag on and on... So one day i decided to show him the Sunwell but it was not how he expected it to be... Undead beasts came in and killed every Elf in sight We obviously fought back but the elf's were losing and i was defending my son with my Letter opener Sword i tried to fend them of... But more always came, so i fought them and i was succeeding i had a smile upon my face... But when i turned around i didn't see my son smiling... No... He was on the floor being slowly devoured by the undead his blood was everywhere... My only family... Was gone...
