Some of you may know me, while some of you may not. I'm a longtime member and (twice-over) former game master looking to return to Conquest of the Horde after a hefty absence. We just released our technical preview, so it looks like I'll have reasonably more free time in the near future.

Not to mention that our leadership is hiring another person like me -- or cloning me -- which would be immensely helpful in reducing my workload.

I'm looking to start small, if possible: no huge guilds, minimal events, and preferably with a small group of like-minded individuals. I'd prefer to start out with just a single character, flesh them out, and gradually fit back into the community. If possible, having a broad plan for developing the characters and their stories would be immensely appreciated.

Just some quick background on me:
  • I reside on the West Coast of the United States with most of my availability occurring late in the evening or during the weekends (unless I sneak some time in while at the office);
  • I'm an older player, both in terms of time in the community and time on this earth;
  • I have a strong understanding of Warcraft lore and a willingness to research areas where I have little knowledge;
  • I have neither race nor faction restrictions;
  • I generally do not play outright evil characters since they don't quit my personality (and I'm always afraid of being far too over-the-top);
  • I prefer my own character concepts, though I may consider creating a specific character to fill a plot hole as long as I have flexibility in character creation, portrayal, and future;
  • I enjoy roleplay that builds interpersonal relationships and weaves stories between characters over an extended period of time; and
  • I believe in inclusiveness in roleplay, as well as working within the lore to make nearly anything possible.

Xenaith - Xenaith is my succubus which tends to bother people at random. She is usually decent to talk with and won't just attack and kill everyone, she likes to have her fun with the victims. I think the best characters for interacting with her would be Felsworns or Burning Legion Warlocks, she can be quite decent at chatting about fel and all that. She can also come and bother your characters at random if you are into that. :3

Vyseni - My newest character, she is a Kaldorei Warden. Overall friendly enough with her race and her allies but can be quite apathetic at times. I'd imagine a few friends would be really nice for her. A love interest won't be out of the question, has to be Kaldorei though.

Sekrin - Sekrin is a Nathrezim, great at controlling people. I would imagine an aspiring warlock would do well. He could guide your character as you are going for the felsworn class. Besides that I'd imagine that I could also have him appear here and there as part of your event/storyline, just poke me to discuss stuff. :3

So, Noble RP is on the rise, as I believe some may've noticed. I happen to have a Blood Elf Noble House of my own; House Emeircenth.

Because of how this family works, it's always open for close and distant relatives and their family tree is pretty much up for discussion at all times. Blood doesn't have the same value to them, and with how many of them get children early (and usually get many children)... There's plenty of room all over and without issue to get your foot in with the House in some way.

Aside from family, we're also always looking for people who'd like to work with us.

For family members, what you have to keep in mind is the following:
  • Men and women have separate, gender-based roles. Men become Spellbreakers and guardians of the family, and women become Arcanists (and preferrably ascend within the Magisters). Mages or Warlocks are valid.
  • If you don't follow your assigned role, you are excluded by default from the Family Council, the family's ruling body, which also means you don't get a chance to vote on new heirs nor do you get the chance to be an heir. You still get to use the Emeircenth name and if you go through a Council Member, you may access family funds. Usually, however, as far as the Council's concerned, you're only really good for marrying off to someone else.
  • They are sexist, elitist assholes, in essence. And hopeless overachievers.
Can't think of anything else I need to mention off the top of my head. The Wiki page should cover just about everything. Feel free to ask if you have any questions, if you're interested at all.

I'm also looking to build bridges between this house and other houses in Blood Elf society... but also with Dwarven and possibly Human houses due to historical ties (especially with the Dwarves of Ironforge).

I'm looking to get Feretus to know people---in his case right now he's actually to put it bluntly, on the hunt for lady elves. He's not looking to get into a relationship just yet, as he's coming off of an emotional high, -but-, he's looking to have fun and get into shennanigans as well as make some new bonds.

He -is- a noble, but I think of him in the way right now as most bachelor playboys would think of themselves---mister single on the prowl. He wants to spend time at the moment having fun, getting into trouble, and zoning out the troubles that are plaguing his poor mind.

Think of Tony Stark. Or how Bruce Wayne -wants- to be perceived. Hell, or even every spoiled celebrity ever.

That's what he's doing right now. If you're interested, hit me up in game, or send me a message. I'm open to storylines and ideas too---not just making this a one-off sorta thing where I don't establish more to it than "Just him wanting to get him some!". Doesn't mean that's not his IC intention, though. ;p

That's a great question, I don't have a great answer. It is hard to find things for him to do. Sure, I can get him into some civilian clothing and do just about anything as long as he doesn't blow his cover... but why do that when we can do other things, naughty* things. Perhaps you have a forsaken willing to have a nice picnic with him. Maybe some of you strong Argents want to have a casual encounter, maybe we can get the authorities involved?

- The Dawnsails are a purely mercantile house with only a passing connection to the ancient nobility. They focus on shipping, business, and politics, and were an autonomous house until their scion, Leanara, married into House Eduriel for political power.

- The Snowfalls are an ancient Magisterial house whose family has long been intertwined with the Eduriel line. Every second generation sees an Eduriel daughter married to the Snowfall scion and a Snowfall daughter married to an Eduriel scion as a means of cementing their blood ties. Faloras was the child of one such union, and now that a non-Snowfall scion reigns in his place this branch is growing discontented with the current state of affairs. Their specialty is Cryomancy, a school of magic considered rare and exotic among the Blood Elves, and their estate straddles the snowy, isolated peaks between Eversong and Western Lordaeron.

Under Aurion's auspices the House Eduriel is pursuing rapprochement with its branches in the hopes of uniting them all again into a powerful house. Though the main house is still a shadow of what it was, Aurion's recent victories (and defeats) have pushed him to unite the family again.

-Afaratan Nethershriek: Disgraced/dishonored blood mage. All of the power, none of the responsibility. Alignment: Somewhere in the evil spectra.

-Aphetoros Zin-Anduth: Ancient Highborne Mage. Dedicated to restoring the noble name of his people and eradicating threats to Azeroth to atone for his involvement in the first Sundering of the world.

-Crescenthorn Spirithoof: Tauren Spirit Champion/Dragonsworn. He'd be really fun to RP, but I'm having trouble finding a place for him.

-Clazbolt: Goblin Slaver... of Elementals. Chaotic neutral/ignores alignment and boundaries for the sake of profit.

-Tydael: Blood Elf Young Adventurer/Rune-user. (Runemaster class, needs to be remade into a warrior, however.)

Claudd: Human Warlock enslaved by a Shivarra due to a contract gone sour.

Fisk: Laughing Skull hunter with a pet Ravager. Eccentric, but kind.

Olethrose: In life, he was an uncorrupted necromancer. He ended up working with the Scourge somehow, at some point, in hopes to prevent something terrible, but was betrayed and killed, later raised into a Death Knight.

Alun'fae: Zandalari Troll Mage. Stark believer in the voodoo, takes a great interest in troll history and preservation of troll culture.

Kash: Troll necromancer/corpse-watcher. He preserved corpses in his tribe and began to learn necromancy.

Ner'ova: Shadowmoon Orcish Shadowmage, astrologer and Dark Star Adherent.

Gul'dhar: 88 year old, Chaotic Evil Orc Stormreaver Warlock, part of the first generation of warlocks in the Horde. Seeks power for himself and power for the Horde. (See: Iron Horde but run by warlocks, would be his dream.)


I'm very versatile, especially within the Horde, but I'm also up for making new characters. I'm trying to find a new 'muse,' as it were.

I got a new character, a Sin'dorei warrior which also happens to be a sellsword. And I was thinking.. what is a mercenary without someone to hire him? This is why I am here! Hoping that someone could put a seasoned swordsman to good use. Got things that need moving and you need extra protection? I am here for you. Your noble house needs extra men? A body-guard to keep you safe? Sure thing! You get the idea. The character will take contracts from both the Horde and the Alliance.

My character's name is Andares but I am usually easy to find, really. I usually hang out on GMI on Sorum or Xenaith. I am in the EU timezone but I usually stay up rather late too! Just poke me in a PM or whisper me in game. <3]]>

It's hard for me to RP certain characters now because they have no active storylines going on, but neither have I any energy to think up new drama for them too. So they just sit there and do nothing. What a waste!

So, I come to you guys, the community. I want to know YOUR character's storylines, I want to be involved with them and develop my characters through YOUR adventures. I've played enough hero, now it's time to play the support. What characters do I want to develop? Any of them! I don't care! I got holy rollers, I got neutral mercs, I got wizards, elves, Old Horde, new Horde, deaders, civilians, cosmically old space goats, and more. Just tell me what you got and I'll see who I can stick in there!]]>
