This is the set up of a rather long treasure hunt I plan to set up for any group of individuals looking to participate. You will need TRP2 downloaded as it works off of the stashes. In order to access the stash I leave you will need the following:
1. The most recent clue, how else would you know where to go?
2. Me to be online AND in the party, it's how the stashes become accessible. This helps to make sure no one can go in and continue the story without the others or alter the clues themselves.

This might be a long set up and I plan to work on it when I can, to keep it interesting I will try my best to scatter the clues over all lands, Alliance, Horde and neutral so the group better be willing/prepared to work with others.

Aurion Eduriel and his trained slaves apprentices are able to provide IC enchanting and magical trinket-making services for those who want something special. Inquire about orders and commissioned work either in this thread or ingame! Note: this thread does not need to be IC, though sending an IC letter-style request is fine too and will probably get an IC letter-style response back unless I'm confused about something.

You can present him with a problem you want solved or a thing you want made and he'll solve it however he thinks he can. More specific items can be ordered as well such as if you want something made, decorated, and enchanted to a certain specification. He'll just quote a higher price if it means going to an outside source to get things.

Items can be as inventive as you want, but bear in mind that I'll be double-checking with the GMs for things I make. That means it will take longer for more ambitious items to be approved (take my Dalaran permit caveat literally, in this case). It may also take some IC work and questing to acquire the necessary components for particularly difficult items. Do not be alarmed if things take time or require extra effort, that's all part of the fun!

OOC-price for glows and such is probably going to be just the cost of materials unless I have to go out and get rep or search for the recipe to get the right color. Newbies get them for free! I don't want anyone to have to farm for this sort of stuff, least of all myself.

Location

The Golden Quill is a library and bookshop nestled in the forest to the south of both Hearthglen and The Menders' Stead in the Western Plaguelands. The proximity to an Argent Crusade encampment ensures the protection of the Quill's guests from the dangers of the area.

Location

The Golden Quill is a library and bookshop nestled in the forest to the south of both Hearthglen and The Menders' Stead in the Western Plaguelands. The proximity to an Argent Crusade encampment ensures the protection of the Quill's guests from the dangers of the area.

Built and populated by the members and officers of a people’s group named Solidarity, it sought to bring hope, opportunity, and renewal to Stormwind’s common man. It failed, and its Row was left abandoned for a time. Home to shambling undead, and errant worgen.

              For a time, it was dark, decaying. Some months after the Cataclysm, it would be found by a young Gilnean witch. She decided it would make a fair home, a haven from which she could offer service to the Alliance that aided her people. She gathered friends and cleaned the little hamlet of undead. Her prayers to the earth’s spirits, coupled with the Light of a few paladins lessened the sickness in the land; enough to ask the earth for a small crop for this season’s harvest.

              Word spread of the hamlet’s habitation and renewal. She was able to draw workers to the Row. She could not offer them coin, but there was plenty to repair, plenty of room for shelter, and plenty of food to cook. Slowly, over the weeks, crucial structures like the blacksmith, barn, and chapel were restored.

              Finally, a new name was given to the Row. She chose Rosehaven; a harkening back to her home of Gilneas, and an offering of safety and warmth in Duskwood’s shadows. Visitors are welcome to seek a rug for the night, or to trade their wares in bartering or for coin.

Were one to enter and filter out the cacophony of speculation regarding all things from goods to coinage, any novice (merchant or otherwise) could easily spot the large trading board spanning the entirety of the shortest wall in the spacious structure. Backed by oak and fronted by worn, punctured cork, it would take even less than a novice to spot the sheer amount of advertising covering it, ranging from humble, worn parchment to marvelous engravings.

Open to the public, anybody, merchant or commoner, well known or unknown, could reasonably advertise or request goods using it. And, were they to pay the two silver posting fee, they wouldn't even get kicked out by the two spooky-looking bruisers guarding it (recognisable as the former "Brothers Ignorance", shady muscle-for-hire from the Old Town). And, as a place of meeting for many men of business as well as artisans, there'd be no shortage of extra services like coin-counting and appraisal for all kinds of goods (even for weapons and armor. Looking at you, OrcSlayer McGoodly.)

The rules would be lax - all messages must be legible and refer to tangible, legal goods. No mercenaries, no 'personals'. Otherwise, anything is allowed, no matter how odd, and more dubious methods of trade like short selling are deemed acceptable, as long as the trading house isn't liable for losses. You should probably also put down a method for those interested to contact you, but it's your message. Oh, and two silver coins up front.

(As a law-observing establishment, Landen's Lane holds the right to 6% of profit made from any trade concluded using its services, as well as surcharges from any additional tariffs that may fall under items being sold)

Any and all messages posted here, as long as they abide the rules detailed, will be put up on the board for all to see! (See: this post)

An Explanation

This poster is intended to advertise for employment at the Sable Dragon Inn, a tavern in Dalaran's city center. It is OOCly located in the Legerdemain Lodge.

More information on the tavern can be found here.

Before we can open the tavern proper we need a certain number of employees. We are currently looking in-character for:
  • Bartenders
    Individuals who man the bar and provide drinks and services to the patrons. Players must be competent at dealing with crowds of characters.
  • Waiters/Waitresses
    Individuals who move about the tavern serving tables and patrons. Players must be competent at conversation RP.
  • Hosts/Hostesses
    Individuals who spend time socializing with lonely or bored patrons. Players must be competent at initiating engaging role-play with other characters.
  • Patron
    An individuals not employed by the tavern in the classical sense, but is a frequent visitor and provides some service to the inn, the staff or the proprietors. Players should speak with me to discuss the idea further as well as what your character can provide.

Players who are interested should be willing to initiate and sustain casual and semi-casual role-play in a neutral setting and be able to role-play regularly or semi-regularly throughout the week and weekend. They have been tacked on boards and walls outside of local drinking halls and flophouses.

An Explanation

Spoiler:
This poster is intended to advertise for employment at the Sable Dragon Inn, a tavern in Dalaran's city center. It is OOCly located in the Legerdemain Lodge.

Before we can open the tavern proper we need a certain number of employees. We are currently looking in-character for:
  • Bartenders
    Individuals who man the bar and provide drinks and services to the patrons. Players must be competent at dealing with crowds of characters.
  • Waiters/Waitresses
    Individuals who move about the tavern serving tables and patrons. Players must be competent at conversation RP.
  • Hosts/Hostesses
    Individuals who spend time socializing with lonely or bored patrons. Players must be competent at initiating engaging role-play with other characters.
  • Patron
    An individuals not employed by the tavern in the classical sense, but is a frequent visitor and provides some service to the inn, the staff or the proprietors. Players should speak with me to discuss the idea further as well as what your character can provide.

Players who are interested should be willing to initiate and sustain casual and semi-casual role-play in a neutral setting and be able to role-play regularly or semi-regularly throughout the week and weekend. The Silverfang Theater will be hiring and hosting auditions for reoccurring actors and actresses periodically over the next two months. All interested apply in person or hold an audition reservation by mail.

Job requirements:
  • Must be experienced
  • Formal education required
  • Must be willing to work odd hours
  • Must be good at following orders

All applicants must audition in person with a forty silver deposit ready. Auditions will be held in all major Horde cities.
