Changing Class?

Alright, so I have my first initially approved character Jathail. (Woot!)
Yet, he's a paladin and every time I try to play him, the spells never do damage, I realize that's a technical issue.
I just wanted to ask if it's possible to change classes, even though the character is initially approved?

If he's a Paladin IC'ly, it's better to stay a Paladin.

Well, he's not... Yet.
You see, right now, he's about... As useful as an Escort Quest NPC. When he get's to Northrend and meets the Argent Dawn, he's going to train as a paladin, assuming The Expedition gets there, but you're probably right. I'll just tough it out.

Re-spec in pure Retribution. That talent tree seems to not have any bugs, for me at least.
