A Change For The Better.
#1
After 10 months of inactivity and letting an approved character go to waste, I've come back and decided to develop on Kane's story, keeping up with recent events, hoping that I will eventually be able to include him in important RPs that affect the server and/or the ingame world.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After a long, tiresome day of being ignored and attacked by people who refuse to give him money, Kane wandered through Old Town in Stormwind, hoping to find an individual there. His long, torn robes trailing along the path behind him, he walked past a dark, shady alley. He stared down the alley and caught a glimpse of a man, minding his own business, head down, and slowly walking out of the alleyway. Kane turned then walk in, slowly passing the man, while contemplating whether to ask for money or not. As he passed, he turned and grabbed the individual and threw him against a wall, demanding a small fee. This was something different to what Kane was used to. He'd never threatened an innocent man in his life, but was doing this out of need, in hopes to survive. The man refused to give him any money. So Kane began casting a fireball, or atleast, attempted to. Mere sparks would light up then wither away. The man smirked then pulled out his wand, pinned against Kane's chest, and pushed him into a wall. At this point Kane realised that this was the price to pay for his actions. He lowered his head, and explained himself, knowing that the man may not even care. Explaining that he acted the way he did in hopes to get atleast 1 silver coin to pay for bread, or food of some kind. He explained in short his story, about his poverty. The man looked at him, then lowered his wand.

The man contemplated what he should do next, while also seeing an opportunity to benefit himself. He asked for Kane's name, then offered him a position with his organisation, and warned him of the possible threats of working with him. Kane, ignoring all instincts and warnings, accepted the offer.

The man pulled out a dagger, tearing a hole into space, creating a portal to an unknown place. He suggested to Kane that he walk through it, and he blindingly did so. They both stepped through the portal into a graveyard, where the man had planned a business meeting with a dark stranger. The stranger asked about Kane, and the man merely said that he is helping with logistics. The 2 men went about their business. The first man then instructed Kane to grab the large box that was being traded, and carry it. The 2 men finished their business deal and went their own ways, Kane following the first man. The man used his dagger and tore another hole into space, another portal leading to a strange room. Kane and the man walked through.

Upon arriving in the room, the man sat at a table and instructed Kane to place the box on the table. He then revealed his name. Craer. He then told Kane more about his organisation, while admitting that he will be teaching Kane more about arcane magic, as well as basic education books and an abacus, to help Kane learn. Craer then told Kane to head downstairs and study at once, and so he did. Kane proceeded downstairs, to find that he was in a large house. Whoever this Craer man was, he had to have been earning alot from his work. He then smiled, hoping that one day he could live like this. Kane sat at a table and began studying from a dictionary. He studied for a few hours, before falling into a deep sleep, head resting into the table.
