Gilnean Tower

In Keel Harbour, there is an old tower by the name of Gilnean Tower, inside of it are many things you may not understand, there are some former people there, some entities that may perplex even the wisest of Night Elves, some that can even startle those that consider themselves 'all-knowing' beings, whatever the case I have lost an artifact within it.

It is in my best interest to investigate the manner of what lurks in this tower, and what relevance it has to pose to the past. What does it have to do with Gilneas' past, what do we each have to do with it's path as a result? And why? I have decided to set off on my own to gather information on just the nature of it, I may be back in a week, a month, or a century. I bid you all farewell.

And so two years later the Gilnean Tower near Keel Harbour stands there, enduring the test of time and having endured even greater damage during the Forsaken Invasion of Gilneas, the place is abandoned and there have been previous adventuring parties and so curious people seeking to explore it's ominous halls, none have reportedly come back.

Superstition surrounds the abandoned tower, regarding it's origin and it's current status. Some used to say the tower was created by the Burning Legion or Scourge themselves to spy on the Gilnean Kingdom, some say a cult of warlocks and necromancers used to inhabit the tower, others say a Gilnean Noble house had established it as their home of sorts.

But this is all of course speculation, and the true nature of it is still, to this day unknown.
