Conquest of the Horde

I'm thinking of ressurecting my oldest character, "Zul'"Chan, but not as he was before, or well, pretty much the same but with some differences to make him. more interesting to play. He was originally created as a lowly witch doctor exiled from the Skullsplitter tribe, when just a week into play the first prestige title system was launched and made me change him into a young, inexperienced bragart wannabe who claimed to be very powerful and skilled in the shadowy arts, in truth he didn't know much, and probably would have been better off not knowing anything.

Now I'd like him to be much of that, but with some darker tones, I'm thinking that he aims to "collect" and enslave spirits of dead enemies (ritual canibalism, use of those voodoo dolls I read about somewhere and head shrinking) to claim power, not sure what this would entail, nor really how troll voodoo works, but from what I gather it would mean that he some kind of Hexxer? Or something.

I'm also a bit uncertain wether I should keep him the clumpsy, weak youngling or make him a bit more combat oriented? Kind of a mystic head hunter? I really don't know, suggestions are welcome!

Both sound decent, however the latter may make some people scared to RP with you out of towns... Hehe.

Personally, I do like the idea of the witch doctor. I suppose we have enough "cocky" Trolls on the server at the moment, it seems.

So if I had to choose, go with the darker one definitely. At least, that's what I would say.

How troll voodo works seems to be exactly what you want for your guy. Evolution RP is always very fun - I'd play his becoming from nooby youngling to Dark Voodo mon, over the background of "Troll renaissance". Walluce's Zul'Raka has a "earning a doctorate" thread about taking apprentices I believe, taking on apprentices.

With the raising of the Echo Reclamation event I did a bit of hard studying about Troll Religion and what have you. The Character's preference's depend entirely on you, however I think a Hexxer molds well the Shadow Priest class and specc. Like Davemwow said you're welcome to come to my Character Zul'Raka IC'ly or myself OOCly and I'd be happy to try and answer any troll ritual and/or Loa related questions.

This is a very good guide posted by Diethe, and I highly recommend a skim through it by anyone wishing to roll troll.

And on another note, In-Game on the GHI addon I've compounded a few sources describing troll faith into a book I can reference and flip through whenever I'm unsure of anything. I'd be glad to trade your character a copy.
