Ok, I was just looking over the thread about editing your character profiles on the wiki, and some things are confusing me.

Quote:Age: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Hair: Changing the style is fine, do not change color unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Weight: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Height: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.

I can understand why you shouldn't alter Race or Gender...but why exactly do you need permission to alter these things?

Age and Height are maybe the only ones that wouldn't change very often. But weight can fluctuate a lot depending on what you are doing with your character.

Hair is perhaps the most fluid of these. It should be as fluid as the garments section. It would be rather difficult for a person who routinely changed their appearance as a matter of RP to have to get permission every time they wanted to change their hair.
Ideally, we just don't want people messing with profiles after they have been approved and put up on the wiki, but I think the things you are pointing out are just some silly rules we have in place :P

We don't mind at all if a profile is changed, but be sure to tell a GM so they can know and make sure the changes are not too crazy.
