Odd. Tried five times and the poll isn't working for me.
Regardless, I would have to vote the first option - I do like NPC interaction! As I said in game, it makes me feel the world isn't static until I arrive.

As much as I love it when the NPCs spring to life... the Poll ain't working for me, either.

I think it may be a forum thing.. I tried to fix it to the best of my knowledge(near-none). I'll ask Kretol about it whenever I see him. For now just post your opinion, I suppose, if you wish to. ^.^

Any possibilities of putting in scripts for these NPCs to say something random every minute or so?

Scripting would be Kret's job, I don't want to ask as this post/poll is solely for my own curiosity since I saw some react well to it, I figured I'd get some opinions. And the poll seems to be broke for some reason. Kret said he'd look into it when he could.

As long as the cries of those merchant NPCs who are selling bread or fruits are not heard from 5000 miles away, repeateadly every two minutes, then I'm fine with it.
