Hi there, I'm not new to WoW, private servers or changing realmlist.wtf. But for some reason, when I do change it, nothing happens. I cant log on to this private server or one that i generate myself with mySQL and arcemu. Instead, regardless of what I put in the file, it treats it as though I'm connected to the standard realmlist and tells me my prepaid time is up if I try and log in to my normal account (on which the prepaid time IS up) and otherwise says that my log in and password are incorrect. Anyone have any idea what might be going on? I'm on Vista btw, and have played on several other private servers and never encountered this problem.

  • What is the path of your REALMLIST.WTF file?
  • What is the file your shortcut is opening? LAUNCHER.EXE or WOW.EXE?

the launcher, but I've tried running it from Wow.exe in the file and the problem persists. :/

Always do WoW.exe as launcher.exe resets the realmlist.

And the path?
