Basically... My computer refuses to recognize the patches that I'm trying to manually install. I don't want to use the automatic installer since it'll skip right past the 3.2.2 patch and to the 3.3 one.

I tried downloading the patches to install them manually from the website mentioned in the stickied guide here, but they won't be recognized. I simply get an error message saying it couldn't start the installer and I might be out of space on my hard drive. Which I'm not, with 90 spare GBs left.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here. I made sure I downloaded the right patch and everything, but it just won't install.

I run on Windows Vista and I had to format my computer and do a system restoration due to some problems, so I only had the basic drives and had to reinstall everything else. And my WoW refuses to co-operate.

Halp?

I'm technologically impaired.

EDIT: Oh, and my current patch is 3.2.0, build 10192
Have you tried running the patches as an administrator? That's usually the problem when it comes to vista executables not starting.

If this doesn't work, try tunning them under Win XP Compatibility Mode. If both don't work, try installing all of your drivers before installing the patches, but the drivers shouldn't be the problem... :?
I have a similar problem, except I can't find the 3.2.2a mirror.
