I am not sure how to answer the question, it is sort of fuzzy, but...

As in RPing a class straight after the lore given about it in class-quests and so on I think my pick would be warlocks. They are really the only ones not bound by a 'governing' element.

Giving it a tad more freedom to RP what you want and not get bound what the actual class is bound to in-game I'd say that my absolute favourite is a non-forsaken shadow priest. Just so much fun there, secrecy, intrigue, religion and so on.
I'd have to say Warrior, because for some reason I just love playing a hot headed character that doesn't plan but charge in and bash with his weapon
M.A.G.E!
If you'd have asked this a few weeks ago, I'd have answered Warlock, but I've grown tired of harassing people with Kimee ( for now ) and instead have fallen in love with my newest approved char, Nexariel, my Draenei Shaman. The mysticism I can pull off with her, her oneness with the universe, and the totally epic buffs I can give folks during RP Combat events really pulls me in. The class is just very versatile not only game mechanic-wise, but RP wise.
Priest.

The only class that really has two opposing faces.

Priests and druids. Priests, because as said before they can be anything! A sinister shadow priest or an inspiring light priest. Both cool, I like the Light priest having all those blessed magic stuff. Druids, because they there bond with nature and stuff, and well they are actually kind of nature priests you can say.
Druids/Hunters entrall me, and Mages/Warlocks are also fun to play. Warriors (due to their versability) and Paladins (due to their faith) are still the most fun, at least in my opinion.
Gotta be Rogue for me, simply because they can either be a flawed thief, to a sublime assassin. They're quite flexible, as well as crafty. I love 'em.

I have that figure.

But yes, warrior. Why? Armor options. Weapons options.
Either warrior or shaman. Though, I voted Warrior for the diversity. Paladin is a close third, but that is because it is like a religious-empowered warrior.
I can't say because I'd never role played on a world of warcraftt server. But I think I want to try to be a warlock.(I'm not very studied in Lore just started 2 month's ago)^^ Warlock's have a very mysterious background. And I think I wanted to read up on their background and try them out.
death knights are my favorite, mages are close second
Druids and Priests! Like said before, this is because of their rather peaceful nature. I love playing characters that have nice personality!
Neophyte (and hopeful future member) of CotH just having my say.

I find that the versatility of the priest class provides for some of the greatest opportunity for divergent, dynamic, and exciting roleplay. The role of the priest varies not only from race to race, but also within different groups within said races. A priest can be anything, including:
  • A spiritual guide or leader,
  • An individual skilled with the use of spiritual (and not necessarily the Light!) energy,
  • A paragon of virtue,
  • A healer,
  • A manipulator (or corrupter) of divine power,
  • A representative of a specific deity,
  • A highly spiritual individual,
  • A practitioner of a cult,
  • and so much more!

A a result, the class doesn't dictate what a character has to be, only her potential. To couch any description of the priest solely in the Light pigeonholes the class.

Further, the disparity and characteristics of each of the three trees can provide insight in how the class can be played, but shouldn't be the sole source of inspiration. For example, while many people who play Alliance priests tend to play fiercely devout, kind, and good-natured individuals when specced primarily Holy (or Discipline, to a certain extent) because of their primary focus (healing, of course!), the tree does provide a number of offensive abilities that allow for greater flexibility. The ability is called Holy Smite for a reason!

Just some food for thought!
