Katarra Moonfan the tier 3 vendor in WSG does not sell Dreadnaught Armor. Can this be put in? or can I ask permission to trade the right amount of gold to a GM in order to get it? I really don't want to farm 8 tokens worth of gold!

Dreadnaught Breastplate - item=22416
Dreadnaught Bracers - item=22423
Dreadnaught Gauntlets - item=22421

Pretty sure that's not there, because it's more like Deathknight armor than actual warrior armor.
Fun fact: it was Paladin armor
Minor correction. The Dreadnaught's Battlegear was warrior Tier 3. The paladin was Redemption Armor.
Quote:The original Dreadnaught's Battlegear was the armor of Highlord Alexandros Mograine, founder of the Scarlet Crusade. Korfax explains the lore:

"The first suit of Dreadnaught armor was made exclusively for the Scarlet Highlord Mograine. Whilst donning the full suit, the Highlord looked himself to be a demon from the depths of the Nether.

Aye, 'twas quite a sight to behold as Mograine would wade into a hundred Scourge, Ashbringer held high, and come out on the other side in a cloud of dust and flames - enemies left in ashes beneath his feet.

It was not until after his controversial death that the knights and warriors of Lordaeron would wear similarly fashioned suits in honor of their fallen hero. While the death of Mograine was a great victory for Kel'Thuzad, the resulting martyrdom would be felt until the end of the war.

Where one did fall, many would rise..."

The first set in lore was made for a paladin
Uh...

Why are you arguing over this? Jeeze. You want it to be wearable by you. Quit trying to one up them when they say something. Jeeze.

Locking thread because of derailing. :<
Nothing wrong with a little lore discussion. But, that said, it was originally taken out due to it being way too popular and everyone wanting to get it to make a mock death knight back in BC. I -think- I just never put it back in once DKs were actually playable, but I can't remember. I do remember that T3 didn't have class restrictions, though, so that wouldn't be an issue regardless.
I'll see about putting it back in and gauging just how popular it may still be.
