I have a few things which may or may not help.
1) Clear your cache, as always.
2) Check your Realmlists.
3) Try to log in with your password and see if it works.
4) Check to see if the server is actually up.
Some of these might work and it's always best to check first, if it still doesn't work post back here.

Solution found!
The new realmlist does not work for him all the time. It will loop. I had him switch to coth.gamehost.org
Good thing too! We would have thought it was all him!
