So then make the Hero system something worthwhile? Give them some responsibilities of some sort? *Shrugs* My mind is really muddled right now by several IRL things, so my suggestions are getting bleh.

Why is it that we can't just go as we've done before? I see -nothing- wrong with the server right now. I think, that these kind of things should just be passed along. I mean, why did Secrettom even post that thing? Was he trying to raise a mutiny against CotH? And from what I see, he describes most of the GMs as non-human Evil minions of something much more horrible.
And with my stand point, I would definitely take the side of the GMs on this one.

Everyone else that I have witnessed was demoted/going to be demoted and with them ragequitting in the manner they have been, it shows that they were obviously demoted within good reason.
One could even argue that part of what you are arguing for was being done and is what was causing this drama. Take what I say or leave it, I said it.

However, if they are, I'd definitely go forward with filling it out in the future. They aren't, unfortunately. They go into a black hole, never to be seen by anyone.

As we have it right now, the GMs go from grunt to having a truck load of power and responcibilities dumped on their plates. The trial thing was good in practice but I think we need an intermediate phase. Maybe 2. After grunt, I think people who've attributed to the server, showed consistance in keeping things in check, and order, should be promoted to like... Shaman or something. Then a step above that if they go above and beyond, and show they are really devoted to helping the server and be like... Farseer rank, or something really cool but with no actual power, just a status. Then I think we can wean them into the position of Trial GM and so-on. I'm not going to name any names, but I've seen first-hand many accounts of GMs (I'll take screen shots from now on) who use flash the GM title to get their way, and even if they are wrong or are refusing to look anything up. I think if we build them up slowly, before giving the people power, they may be a little more relaxed. Power corrupts you know. Anyways, that is my two-bits. I've got an entrance exam to go take. See you in a few hours. This idea does intrigue me.

But it had no responsibility required along with the rank. If you gave the Heroes a smaller but still important job to do, it could still help them ease into the power and responsibility that comes with being a GM. Monolith's got the right idea. owo
