This is a little guide to what IS and IS NOT acceptable when editing your character's profiles on the wiki:
Character Full Name: Unless the character undergoes an IC name change, there's no need to change this.
Character In-Game Name: This MUST be discussed with a GM first. This is the actual name displayed above your character's head in-game.
Nickname(s): Feel free to update as other characters take to calling your characters by different nicknames.
Association(s): Guild and accepted affiliations are fine, DO NOT add affiliations to restricted factions (Legion, Hakkari, Dark Iron Dwarves, Scourge, etc.) unless it has been expressly ok'd by a GM.
Race: There are only a few VERY rare cases where this may change. It MUST be discussed and expressly ok'd by a GM.
Class: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Age: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Sex: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Hair: Changing is fine.
Eyes: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Weight: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Height: Do not change unless expressly ok'd by a GM.
Usual Garments/Armor: This is fluid. Update as needed.
Other: Update as needed.
Alignment: Should only change through IC events. Please speak to a GM before changing.
Personality: Should only change through IC events. Please speak to a GM before changing.
History: Updating with new information as it is RPed is fine and encouraged! But please do not change the history that was approved unless it is fixing spelling errors or the like. Adding brackets around another character's name to link to their profile, fixing the spelling on "Stromwind", and adding that their childhood pet's name was "Buffy" is fine. Changing their place and time of birth, parentage, and general plot is not.
