Is the Mac version also the EU version? Because I'm having the same problem, can't copy my folder, and can't download from the internet anyways... or at least haven't looked hard enough.

That's the patch for the mac, you should try that one.
And just a note.. Kretol might just re-roll all this back if he isn't pleased with the results, it is still in a
testing run.

may be optimal for you to wait. I am certain that the EU version should be released in a short time and it's very easy to really mess up a copy of the game if you do something wrong. You have to decide: is the threat of having to potentially re-install the entire game smaller than your desire to log into Conquest of the Horde?
I only have one non profile char there. It can wait.

might also work. Althought it didn't work for me it worked for my friend/OMGPIE.
Hint for keeping yourself busy for the entire week: Take a deep look into your profiles! There is a server restart comming soon. Atleast this is what I am going to do. :wink:
With the help of the guide posted in this thread I did, actually, get it to work. And if I, the guy with the worst luck with computers in the whole world, could get it to work, I'd say success rate is pretty high.
There are TWO different wows, EU and US, (Mac and PC are no different) IF you patch US onto EU you will have major troubles with following patches and its not worth all the hassle.
I love this server i really do and Kretol does an amazing job, im not getting angry or anything, I just cant wait to get playing again. So thanks Kretol and everyone! But i guess im going to have to wait a week.
IMPORTANT!
You need to change the name of the 'enGB' folder aswell for this to work. Otherwise the update will keep rolling until you change it or terminate it.

Yeah, I found this weird as well. But I just terminated the patch and it worked just fine.
