Is that possible to do? As I want to play my character but the game's current build is the latest version thats not compadable with the Server's Build.
So as a friend suggested to me over the phone, if I was to copy all the game files, put them in a different directory, and then say rename certain files, would I have to different versions of WoW? (My dad's, and then mine?)
Just copy the folder, down patch one, change that one's realmlist, and run Wow.exe from the other directory. It's very easy.
I'm just worried about it conflicting with the other copy of the game, but what patch then do I need to delete?
Don't worry,
I have two WoWs on my computer aswell,
one for WoWTrance and Retail (I rarely use this)
and one for Coth,
So it's all safe :P
Though you should know, I've been getting a few -really- odd glitches with this whole multi-folder WoW thing.

1.It patches into the wrong directory.

2.The addons in one folder activate for the addons in the other folder.

3.Cache swapping. : /

It might just be me, but it's giving me bloody hell.
Ok so should I rename it or anything? So the two don't conflict?
And how do I remove patches?
