Conquest of the Horde

I'm seeing an unfortunate rise in the number of errors I receive while browsing the forums. While I used to be able to reload the requested page in order to view it, now I have to try repeatedly or open the thread in a new tab. Furthermore, a number of backgrounds are no longer appearing.

I get variations of the following error every time:

You don't have permission to access /forum/posting.php on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've been getting the same error on Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1 and Internet Explore 8.0.6.
