When I tried to download Ephemeral with my client, it said something like "Failed to connect: error 00000000" or something, has this happened to anyone else?
No, never. Curse is normally very reliable.
You can find Ephemeral within the Downloads section of this site.
I just use "Choose a mirror automatically" from the curse site itself. It's less trouble. 3rd party downloaders can be finicky.

It is an addOn which allows you to "create" your own items in game, like you can write a book, make an old family heirloom or a piece of old cloth, anything basically, but you can only send it around to other players who have Ephemeral and see it there yourself.
You can also transcribe books you see lying around on a table or the floor in WoW, and read them later in Ephemeral.
