Conquest of the Horde

Well then. It seems I've hit a dead-end with him for now. I'm not sure what to do with him ICly or OOCly.
His character development has sorta... stopped.

As a result, I need some feedback/critiques from people I've RPed with on him.
Gimme all your thoughts on him, positive or negative.

Hopefully, this'll help me out with him and all that.

One of the best character developments for a flirt like Wilhelm is for them to find someone they truly wish to tie themselves to. Marius, over time, has changed a lot from since he was hitting on many people and now he's a better man, the same should work for Wilhelm, that is if you don't screw it up. That's what I think you can do with him.

Feedback! Simple. Stop cheating on everyone and everything.

Mika: Thinks he's all right, but he puffs up his chest and acts all cool too much.

Miruka: Thinks Wilhelm is a brat. One minute he's fine with her, the next he gets all sour. She's getting tired of him always trying to get her to sleep with him. lol

OOCly, Wilhelm is a hilarious character to interact with, but the constant "let's go share my bed" jab gets a little hard to react to without sounding like a broken record. Maybe a really bad experience will make him change his outlook, like if he had something to lose and did just that. He has a kid, right? How old is the kid? Maybe develop something more with that.

I notice the flirting thing is getting old.

To Bounty Hunter: Well, he has Gisae at the moment. We'll see how that works out for him. He already tries his best to keep faithful to her.

To Flamme: I noticed his constant mood lashes. That's something someone pointed out before, which I've forgotten about.
And yes, he has a daughter. Chloe. Though he hasn't seen her in a while.

Ill get on Chloe more, if they will help, though i was having the same situation with her.

I also agreee with the others, some kind of life altering event could help you take him in a new direction

Reigen: Thinks he is somewhat amusing, but needs to learn when no means no, and that he is much a show-off. She also dislikes his red armor, it is an eyesore and blinds anyone who looks at him.

OOCly, he needs something major to happen to change his outlook on life, perhaps a purpose or a goal. And no, "Sleeping with as many women as possible" is NOT a good goal. Perhaps something to change his womanizing ways, suggestions could include, but are rather morbid: Witnessing one of the women he fooled into doing something horrible as a result, or one coming after him for revenge. Another one is him himself getting used as a "How do YOU like it, jerk." I think he's stuck currently because he has no goal in life. Reigen is driven by her want of peace in her life, but goes about it the wrong way, and as that's very hard to achieve, she's always on the lookout for a way to change, which keeps her going. [If she ever found it, she'd be rather dull to play.]

Think over how Wilhelm is and come up with a lost of possible goals, or where you want him to be in a certain amount of time, then start driving him to that point. How he gets there could be fun on it's own. And no, no building up a horde of women. Pervert.

Well, where to begin ..... I've known Wil since he was just nub, or atleast I think I've known him since he first appeared in Ratchet waaaaaaaaay back when.


Will edit my full thoughts as it goes on. Yup I remember lots and lots of Wil.

First Edit: Here's a not so short summary of my roleplay with Wil; meeting my first character, befriending my first character, scaring my character out of Ratchet, discovering my disguised character, hanging out with my character, joining the Frostbrand, thinking my character was weird, having hostile relations with another character, getting two to three of my characters killed(of my choice of course, but still xD) meeting another one of my characters on the frostbrand he wished to kill. That was mainly Pre-restart. Post-Restart. Meeting up with another made up character of mine, getting another character killed, making another character hate him and want to kill him, 2 weeks of hell, breaking a ic friend of mine's heart, joining the heretic circus, working with the heretic circus.

I think that's all, think! There's definitely more that has slipped my mind.


Second Edit: I on the contrary don't think Wil needs a life-altering experience. I would suggest Wil one day would maybe think back on his life, think far back about someone he's forgotten about. Try to find them and go from there, maybe they'll hate them, maybe they'll try to kill him. Who knows?


Third Edit: Have someone roleplay a human brat that's supposedly his son that's trying to hunt him down, but Wilhelm doesn't want it, something that really doesn't alter his life but fuels why he's been afraid to settle down with someone, why he's always been after women.

The second and third edit were suggestions for future things, still I have yet to elaborate more on how our roleplay has been.


Fourth Edit: Okay so there's so much that I'd rather not spill the beans of so much roleplay, so if you need help remembering anything Wilhelm, or pretty much any help just PM me. If you do want me to write out all the rp I've had because of Wilhelm I'll type it up and PM you if you want me to.
