PLEASE take the time to use either the World Time Zone Map or Time Zone Converter and post times according to server time, which is PACIFIC (normally GMT-8, but GMT-7 with DST).

I have seen too many instances where people get royally screwed up thanks to Daylight Savings Time, and think their calculations are correct, but end up being an hour off with either attending an event, or running their own event! This becomes even more confusing when people who live in GMT think their time is normally just GMT, but it ends up being GMT+1 because they don't realize they're observing DST! (Yes, I have witnessed this issue occurring.)

So, please - once again, when posting times for events, USE SERVER TIME as a base! This will make things easier so folks can see at a glance (comparing the time in the post with the clock at the top of the site, as well as on server) when an event is starting. If you wish to include your own time zone, just be sure that the server time is included as well!

Thank you for making everyone's lives a bit easier!
Another good resource is GMT Converter.

Seriously, folks. Use these resources to convert your time zone, especially during Daylight Savings. To make it easier, look at what the current server time is (check the top-right area of the forum) and then do the math compared to your current time. BE SURE YOUR COMPUTER'S CLOCK IS CORRECT!

And as a reminder, post event times in server time, please.
