Unfortunately this synopsis has quite a bit of RP missing, a little over a year in fact. However I'm going to try another approach to bring things together. Current Arc: Act 6 - The Novalight Civil War

This 'Civil' War is a reoccuring theme of the family due to their constant duality of being a wealthy, self-centered, shady family, unopposed to killing their friends, their own family members and manipulating their allies with a smile in their face and a dagger in their back.

As the story goes the Original Jidaeo Novalight ( who lived multiple thousands of years ago ) although imperfect had upstanding morals and wished for a benevolent family when he met his wife ( Who was the heir to the family that eventually became the Novalights ) The Family before the 'takeover' was the evil self-centered family aforementioned and didn't want to change that due to an idealistic commoner. So they killed him and his daughter, 'honored' their name change to wash their hands of blood from crimes they already committed and lied about the history of the two influential family members. Thus continuing to manipulate and brainwash allies and family members to keep things the way they were.

Jidaeo Novalight ( current era ) moved his family away from the main family estate to raise them correctly, which caused them to think outside the box and be less afflicted by concentrated brainwashing. Although for some it was already too late. Jids kids have now found the truth about their family and wish to return it to the way the legends of their ancestor are. A family with pride, and sophistication but one of philanthropy and good will.

Antagonists:

Vetai'ryn Novalight - Is probably the mastermind of this whole ordeal, the letter hidden away in time written by Jidaeo ( Original's ) daughter Railynn explains the root of corruption is the person who has had an immediate family member on the Elder Council ( An elite board of old elves truly pulling the strings on the faimly ) is the one responsible for the deceit. Some one in Vetai'ryn's family, ( brothers sisters, mothers, fathers, grandfathers ect. )have been on the council since the family's conception. Vetai'ryn Has had a seat furthing the agenda of snuffing out any competition.

Tialis Novalight Jr - The son of another late antognist, Agorine Novalight. Is a vicious narcissist and ex-Farstrider. Due to his unruly behavior he was imprisoned by the family under the estate as he was deemed unfit to represent the house. Because of the Desperation, Vetai'ryn released him and sent him after Jidaeo's children, the catalysts for the change. ( Zariel, Thalion, Alteryia and Xanthe ) Tialis is responsible for The Murder of Jidaeo's eldest son, Thalion.

Sayla'veli Novalight - The son of Renorien Novalight, Renorien's always been in his brother's shadow, and lives up to the corrupted name of the House. His son is no different, besides his wanting to succeed is out of the will of his father, late grandfather and late great aunt ( Jidaeo's father and Agorine respectively ) because the later two showed interest in Renorien to become the Nova ( patriarch/Matriarch of the House ) After Renorien was denied, then cast aside Renorien felt discouraged. He lost hope after Agorine's death who was his last hope. It is unclear what his motives are, but it is assumed that he is not working for the betterment of the family.

Spin-Off stories:

The Sin'Sholai ( The Blood-Pact )

Jidaeo Novalight ( Current Era ) is a Tormentor Knight of the Ebon Blade, he believes that he and his people, The Talah'dorei Nation ( Or translated into Darnassian as The Children of Death ) or misunderstood and will be eventually be targeted by light fanatics, radicals and ungrateful irrational behavior. He believes strongly that all of the Children of Death, Forsaken and Death Knights need to come together and find a haven in which only they can 'live' together in case such a threat presents itself. ( Forsaken can't go to Ebon Hold and Alliance DK's can't go to UC - is the need for the Haven ) He's already allied himself with Executor Jared Richter leader of the Black Harvest and Captain Jonoth of the Bloodpaw.

The Artifacts -

Before Jidaeo's ( previous Era ) death he had four items, that helped him achieve his success with his group of Mercenaries known as the Light of Nova. The Quel'dorei Crystal Skull, The Edge of the Phoenix, The Edge of the Falcon and the Amulet of the Sun. These artifacts were hidden and left behind by his daughter Railynn, information was passed to Zariel and his siblings and they search for these artifacts to help fight the Corruption in their House. The Quel'dorei Crystal Skull known as the vanassi Issilius has been found and is Wielded by Zariel. The Edge of the Phoenix has been retrieved as well wielded by Alteryia. The last two are being sought after.

The Kings of the Cosmos -

The Kings of the Cosmos played a large role early on but slowly became a backdrop towards the Third Act. They're an elven secret society which has now incorporated other races over the watch, protection and guidance of the Ten Crystal skulls and their wielders. They also wish to protect and balance the planet to the best of their ability with out directly intervening. A job which is also shared with more powerful and illustrious lore groups. This group has no affiliation with any lore units, ideas or people. They just 'want to help'.

I know this is a lot of information, and you don't have to read it all, or remember it. There is a good chance that your character ( if you still wish to participate ) doesn't know all of these things. But it helps to show you OOCly what's going on. Or at least that's the idea. These names have been referenced in the Main Storyline, Guild Forums, and there is a Novalight Family tree to keep things in perspective. If anything is unclear I'm always open to a PM to explain. Also I'd really love feedback and people with storylines or an aspiration to run one to help me tell this story which his snowballed for some time. THanks for reading and participating!
