Grakor456 Wrote:Also, fun fact: the words "Emerald Dream" do not ever appear anywhere in the Spirit Walker's d20 description, nor in the names of any of its abilities. Make of that what you will, I suppose.
Check the magic book for the PnP. There they describe there bond and explain why they can teleport/phase and summon phantom animals.

And again, it's NOT mentioned anywhere in the Horde Player's Guide, where they are located.

But even so, again, why are you complaining about something that was specifically allowed, by name? What are you hoping to gain by arguing this? And on the note of lore, what prevents orcs from gaining a connection to the Emerald Dream through their training?

Stop CotHing on us, bro.
Well in my copy of Magic and Mayhem, on page 48 it says that it is Tauren only...but it may be old. Also, it says their souls share a deep bond with the emerald dream in the summon spirit companion ability.

Magic and Mayhem is the old version of the book, from the first edition of the RPG. In the 2nd edition, they are instead in the Horde Player's Guide.
I figured as much, but I guessed it was worth mentioning :D
Arguing? I want to know how this would work for an orc since their path to ascension should be different.

It's probably not, to be honest. They learn the same stuff the Tauren would learn, because more than likely it's a Tauren teaching them. And again, this is likely because the Emerald Dream is never once mentioned in the prestige description in the latest version of the d20 (and again, if you're looking at Magic and Mayhem, stop. The current version is in the Horde Player's Guide.) It's likely that's been retconned entirely. The entire description doesn't make any reference to Druidism either.
Oy Grakor, could you link me to a page where with info about the RP books?
