Some of you might have looked at the title and wondered what is bludgeoning!
Well, Bludgeoning is an awesome card game that was first thought of by Hawk and has been created into an epic GHI item of Epicness by me! It was played on one faithfull night in the desert amongst various T E C H members and we had a lot of fun with it, so I decided to share it with you!

The Rules of Bludgeoning!
At the start of the game every player draws three cards from his or her Bludgeoning card deck.
There are three different cards:

Sword Card - Worth 1 point.
Axe Card - Worth 2 points.
Mace Card - Worth 3 points.

The points are based on what weapon is best to bludgeon someone with.
All your three cards add up to a value, 3 being the lowest and 9 being the highest.
The GHI item will show you the cards you have drawn and their total value.
After you've drawn your first hand of cards you will be given the option to fold your hand, in case you happened to draw three Swords Cards or you're just not happy with your current hand!

And now the fun begins... Every player shows their hand and much laughter shall be had at the unforunate loser.

What comes after this part well... That's up to you! What we did on that faithfull night was give the loser a dare, decided on by the victor. Though I can imagine a creative bunch like the members of the CotH can think of other fun things to do with it aswell!

Oh darn I forgot to add that this baby is fully automatic!
You only need to press a single button to fold or not and the rest it does by itself!

Epic. I love it. I do have an idea; similar to poker, one could place bets before the hands are revealed, the loser's bets going to the round's winner. And the dare thing. The dare thing is fun for social gatherings. The money, however, shall be a gamboholic revolution.

I also have a suggestion! Introduce more weapons! A few ideas brought up on GMI were daggers, spears, and staffs. Gives people more to work with.

Interesting...truncheon = moar points?

Shield = subtract 1 from your opponents score?

I do agree, that in it's current state Bludgeoning is a bit simple.
And I do like the shield idea!
I shall add the weapons you mentioned and the shield in the next version when I have some spare time, bringing your arsenal from a total of 3 to a total of 7!
Though what should the order be?
I myself was thinking of Dagger 1, Sword 2, Axe 3, Spear 4, Staff 5, Mace 6, and the shield would then substract 3 points, being in the middle of it all.

I liked the bludgeoning simple, actually. Why make it more complicated? We in TECH had amazing amount of fun with bludgeoning and the bed that the loser had to be dared by the winner. This included fun stuff like making somebody sing against their wishes, dance against their wishes (Vyxen still hates you for it.) and daring somebody to drink from a randomly picked bottle. It was motor oil. Lulz were had.

Well, it's possible to have a complicated, and a non-complicated, I think.

EDIT: In an interview with the man responsible for such an invention, Amerand, we have learned that the new one's prototype has worked! It's quickly being opened to the public! Get your GHI's ready!

EDIT2: In an earlier interview, it was also learned that the earlier version, Bludgeoning, will not be taken off the shelves with the arrival of...

BLUDGEONING X-TREME.

Main post has been edited with Bludgeoning EXTREME.
I have made the extended version because there was something bugging me about the simple one, you could only get 6 different point totals: 3 - 9.
In the EXTREME version you can get 15: 3-18, this generates a lot more random outcomes while the simple version stuck around 5-7.
