Conquest of the Horde

So one day Kret walks up and says,
"We need new candidates,"
And made some thread for us to use,
For back and forth debate.

And then our Admins, old and wise,
Gave thought to what we said,
Then told us of their intentions,
In that old debate thread.

So then this morning, come to find,
The choices had been made,
And two GMs had been sent out,
To ask if they would aid.

Now who're these nubs I'm speaking of?
