Just rewatched Quantum of Solace today, and my mind had a brain blast. Would anyone be interested in a Quantum like organization? For those who haven't watched it yet, Quantum seems to be a criminal organization with members hidden everywhere. The organization will probably have high ranking or influential individuals from a variety of guilds in it. Note that this will not be an actual guild as it might lead to metagaming. So would anyone be interested?
This would be interesting but, I ask one thing. What would the actual aim of this group be?
The purpose of the guild would be mainly acquiring material items, eg money, though we can branch out. Every so often, the members may try to start their own personal projects, and the organization will support them depending on what they need.
eg. Bob joins the group. He is in desperate need of felblood. It's his turn for a project, whether he accepts or declines is his decision. Bob agrees, he decides the project will be heavily based on the acquirement of felblood. The organization in turn will help provide what Bob needs for this to suceed. Say that Bob's project succeeds, and he is now rich. He will be expected to give the organization a percent of that profit.
