There Patrick was...face to face with Vezim, the son of Atlast. Vezim has been terrorizing Celes by tricking her to trust him so he could use her as one of his apprentice (I believe...)
Patrick cares deeply for Celes and this is why he had made such a desperate attempt to slay Vezim.
Vezim stood there with that evil grin upon his face...He motioned for Darku to make the first move, which he did. Charging with his shield in front and a sword quick to follow. Vezim could see this coming as he sent a cone of cold towards him....freezing him slightly and weakening him as well.
Patrick, already furious, gets even more angry and attempts to charge again at him...once again he was caught in another cone of cold. Vezim was able to keep backing up as he continued with YET another cone of cold. By this time Patrick's armour has a thick layer of ice making it hard to maneuver. However, Patrick at this time was very close to Vezim, whom was unable to escape. Patrick to his blade viciously down Vezim's chest...his anger pulsing through every last blood cell as he swings with another furious blow...Vezim didn't quite like this...as he took his hand and placed it against Patrick's head blasting him on the ground.
By this time...many have gathered around watching the 'brawl'.
Three to be exact...Beatrice the doctor... Eladgalen the priest...and Pollie the mage...
Eladgalen stepped forward and told Vezim, "Alright, fair fight...now let him go..." He was a very holy man indeed...who wanted to prevent any more pain that could possibly be caused...
Vezim, however, had other plans...he took his hoof onto Patrick's already wounded chest, and sent a fire spell through his boot setting Patrick a flame.
The others tried to react in time but were too late...Patrick laid there burning a flame whilst it was raining...yet could not stop the magical fire from burning bright.
The others were very quick to react...but still not quick enough...Patrick's death did not go unavenged, however...Pollie blasted Vezim with an Ice bolt as he was singing a song he died lying next to Patrick...
Patrick is then brought to Booty Bay where he was watched over by Eladgalen and Pollie. Beatrice tried to come into the room to get a treatment that he had for another patient...but Pollie refused to let her in because of her hate towards Fel users (I believe).
Eladgalen took in a good days of resting to prepare for the ressurection on the next day.
Rezzer: Eladgalen
Killer: Vezim
Temp. Drawbacks- EXTREME pain in his chest making him unable to do any type of laborers work for a while. Exhaustion, Shortness of breath.
Long term/Perm. Drawbacks: Chest will have left a Burn Scar with purple veins bulging from the center of the chest. His chest will become a weak spot during a battle. Stamina has been reduced.
