I think I need to wait until Lucius is approved first.
Serious, you can make Wildhammer? Sweet.
Yeah, and I'm not sure about Dark Iron, they may be available in Cataclysm.
Do I have to wait until like after a week that Lucius gets approved to make one? I mean special, or does a special not count?
I think it does count, since it's another profile. I did hear though that while you have a special profile out, you can make a normal profile since special profiles (usually) take a long time to get them approved.
Yup, that's right. While I was waiting for Cieldrim to be approved, I didn't have to refrain from posting normal profiles in the meantime.
The Prestiges are not re-opened.

And if you go onto the Wiki, you'll see what profiles count as Special.
Does it work the other way around?

I've checked what counts on the wiki, though it seems vague.
I don't think it works the other way around, because normal profiles don't take as long to make. This is just a guess, though.
I believe the High Elf thing is just to tell people that 'You're a Blood Elf, not a High Elf. You can't be in Stormwind'.

I'm certain that if someone actually submitted a good special-model profile for a High Elf, there would be a possibility of its acceptance.

Also.

Prestiges are characters who are 'heroes', in a sense. Regardless of what they were when first created, they've become something else all together. Whether it be a Demon Hunter or an Archmage, it's something prestigious that a character has likely earned through RP.

Meanwhile, a special profile is simply a delicate profile needed to be handled by the GMs more attentively. Like someone who starts off with political power, such as a nobleman.
To clarify on the question of High Elves, see Non-Playable Races

On that page you'll find links to various races, including High Elves. On the High Elf page itself you'll find this:

CotH Wiki Wrote:High elves are a non-playable race on Conquest of the Horde. There are two other normal player-available elf races available. We know there are still High Elves, but you will not be able to convince us to allow you to have one. Period. If you are going to leave the server because you can't play a High Elf, then you have stumbled across one of the reasons we don't allow them.
Odd, some of the non playable races could be soon, such as the worgen and goblins. And the Scarlet Crusade, or at least to my knowledge, has and was played. There was a guild if my memory serves correct. Unless, of corse, they were wiped out.
Right, the "If you are going to leave the server because you can't play a High Elf, then you have stumbled across one of the reasons we don't allow them." side of things makes absolutely no sense at all.

I just want to know why, like really why? I'm not rebelling against it, I just want to know why.

Does this mean that there is a chance of making one?
Quote:Now, this is not a set of hard-fast rules. Exceptions *may* exist. However, they are only given out to people that the GM Staff trusts to be able to RP the role well. As such, in order to get a character extremely out of the norm, a player must:

A. Get permission from a content GM before even submitting a profile. This will be judged by the quality of the player's RP, his or her writing skills, and the level of trust that is able to be placed into that player. This will likely be discussed, and it should not be expected to get an answer right away.

B. IF GRANTED, the player must then go through the standard approval process, writing up a profile and having it checked by the GMs.

C. AFTER THE PROFILE IS APPROVED, the player may then (AND ONLY THEN) create the character. During this time, the character may be watched to ensure that it is being handled to our satisfaction
Because a) High Elves are Alliance Blood elves
B) There aren't many left
C) Everyone wants one for some bloody reason
D) HIGH ELVES!
Grakor hates high elves with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns.
