First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
I had been rping ever since vanilla came out. For the last year I have
only been playing on a PVP server since rp on my favorite server died. Now
even that server is failing, so I am looking for a new place to call home.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I come from Denmark, but I have been speaking English fluently since I was
3 years old.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
A friend of mine showed it to me once a long time ago. The day after I went
out and bought the game myself I have been hooked ever since!

What made you seek our server over others? (or How did you find us?):
A very good and old rp friend named Lendri (that also plays here) told me
about it. The way she described it made it seem really good. And, rp servers are hard to come by so I thought I would give it a try!

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I prefer all of them really. I cant say one over the other because in my
mind they don't go well alone; You just gotta have them all every now and
again. =)

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Bloodelf Rogue. I know, I know, very stereotypical. But I like the Bloodelf look, not
being completely human but not to far away either. I love being a Rogue
in rp because that means I can eavesdrop on others quite easier.

What are your expectations of this server?:
Well I heard this was THE best rp server around so hopefully this is what
I will get. But really, I just expect some decent rp. Its been awhile since I
had any of that...

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
That has to be respect for the most part. There can never be any good rp
unless the participants respect each other.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
The chronicles of Kalindas Du Eben

....

Nine-hundred and forty-six years ago a male blodelf was born in the lost city of
El Arraz his parents named him Kalindas Du Eben, but later on in his life he would only
be known as the drunken monk.

At the age of fifty he joined the elite forces of El Arraz known as the Blind
Ones. The initiation ritual was brutal; they had to burn their eyes out with
a red hot poker. This was done so they would rely on their other senses than
their eyesight because the eyes can be deceived.

He stayed in the Blind Ones regiment for five-hundred years. Then came the
humans in such vast numbers that our army could do little to stop them. The Blind Ones
and their king fortified them selves in the castle. They did so for five days
until they were betrayed by one of the peasants that sought refuge in the
castle. Everyone was slaughtered, but Kalindas escaped despite the odds.
He found the kings secret passage that led out in the wilderness.

Wounded and tired he saw a small cottage in the forest. He was reluctant to
try and seek help from others, but he knew he would die if he did not. He
crawled to the door and knocked... His world blacked out around him.
That was the last thing he remembered.

He woke up in a very small bed, (almost to small for him), realizing the
inhabitant of this house must be a dwarf. He was soon to be proved right
seconds later. The door opened and in came his saviour; An old dwarf named
Korag. This weird looking small dwarf would turn out to be kalindas best
friend and new mentor in the ways of the Drunken Blade and Fist.

Korag offered his knowledge and to train Kalindas. How could he say no to that!
The way of the Drunken Blade and Fist was a lost art, and one of the best
sword fighting techniques ever created. Korag and Kalindas trained
relentlessly everyday, throughout the one-hundred years they knew eachother
for. It was one of the more harder challenges that Kalindas was put through,
but all well worth it. But, then bad news struck one day when Korag collasped
during their training one evening.

Kalindas picked the little man up and carried him inside. He then lay him on
his bed and asked Korag what was wrong.
"Alas, my boy it ish the end of my yearsh. My old heart can not carry thish aged
body no longer. But, I have yeh a secret that I mush't share with yah befor' me
passing.. I am to old to be livin' like thish, knowing it an' not sharin' it with sh'omeone
before meh death. So, I bestow onto yeh.. The secret of tha' Drunken Blade and Fist."
The secret was the last words the dwarf spoke before falling into a eternal, but peaceful slumber.
Kalindas buried his friend and mentor in his yard by the giant oak tree they trained by
every morning and night. Then, Kalindas set out on another journey that would surely
change his life, for he was seeking someone to help him avenge his people that died
so many years ago in El Arraz.

On his path he befriended a blood red snake. In the years to come he made a
connection with the snake so that when he needed it the snake would lend
him his eyesight. Oddly enough, this snake seems immortal and impervious to
harm. Kalindas does not know the reason for this, but he does not question it.
Without the snakes help he would not be able to see all the beautiful things in life.

Fifty years later he met a rogue named Kai. He turned, and he spoke afew words.
"I have heard of you are the one they call drunken monk."
Kalindas had to tell the truth... He was an awfully bad liar.
"Aye this ish me why are you ashking?"
The rogue smirked. He had an offer to make him.
"Join my ranks, I am in need of a fighter with your skills,"
Before Kalindas could respond, the rogue rose his hand and smiled.
"..And yes, there will be plenty of rum."
Kalindas eyes glowed by the mention of rum.
"Aye, I accept. Now lead me to the rum!"

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
No I do not. But I do hope you enjoyed reading my story. It means
abunch to me, since it has history from when I roleplayed a long time
ago.
