A little-known feature of this new forum is that now members can add calendar events themselves! If you check the Calendar page, you'll be able to click on a day to add an event. Any events will show on the portal page and index page (at the bottom - upcoming events).
Furthermore, any events added will also create a thread here in the Event Planning forum for folks to reply to or comment on. Check the sticky in this forum for more info!
