Some may disagree with me, but it no longer has the feel of a single entity; It turned into a bunch of split groups that keep to themselves.

I actually somewhat agree to this, but I do try to engage in multiple, shall we say, 'cliques.' Take Pops. He's really only in Stormwind with the same people as of late.

Jezzan is, of course, with The Hunt.

Richt was just involved with an RP with Reigen. (Hurr durr.)

Basically, my thoughts are, the more characters you make, the more you diversify. Different characters will get into different situations, and you'll make new RP buddies.
Frankly I find it funny to read through this topic and think to myself. "Some people will never change."

Of course prestiges and powers go hand in hand together, or so it seems. But I think it is quite the opposite. In RP there has to be room for improvements for both the character and the player. Sadly not always does this happen. Some people get too obsessed with the prestige system and try to create a story around the character to finally get them to become as powerful as the said prestige title would let them be. But honestly it should not be about the powers the prestige grants a character, it should be about the path the character has to travel to become stronger.

Mistal is a Fel-sworn, yet I never made him a Fel-sworn just so he gained wings, was able to be more powerful than 'common' characters or whatever. I chose to make him a Fel-sworn as it would fit his persona, to add some more indepth to him as a character. The perks he has gained from it are a 'nice touch' but nothing really important.

Grakor already mentioned a few names of characters whom without going prestige brought a lot of RP and plots to the server. Maybe some of you should look at them first, consider what they have done to get their characters so famed and glorified and if that had anything to do with prestige power.

A good RP'er thinks about his character, not his powers, but what he can and cannot do. Then elaborate on the things he cannot do and think about a solution to how to improve it in some way.

Just my two cents.

Sure, every character acts differently in different situations, and that's what Role-Playing is all about, but Classes stay the same. 'S how you use them that matters.

Just gonna jump over all the drama abounding and say thank you.
I don't care what anyone says, I think it's great and should be used.
I do enjoy this. I also enjoy the '<Blank> in the World:' part. If all of them had a description that would be awesome.
