Spoiler:
This is a guild post for the Argus Wake guild, a World of Warcraft lore organization dedicated to loyally serving the Burning Legion and advancing the use of Fel and Shadow magic.

The idea was first posed by Torches pre-restart. GMs Krilari and Rosencrat stepped up to help moderate the group with the Administrator's blessing. Post restart the guild was taken up by Rosencrat and Psycho and is being re-vamped to fit the modified lore of the new server.

The new purpose of the guild is the unification, protection and betterment of the amoral community through the creation of a coalition of like-minded guilds and groups. To this end the group will provide protection and support, catalog and study all manner of dark magic and enforce a code of conduct upon practitioners, whether they are a member of the coalition or an un-aligned outsider. This code is intended to correct improper activities that endanger or put in poor light the evil community, such as reckless murder and public displays of illegal magic. These are designed as rules to both increase the quality of amoral role-play on the server and ensure that we do not, ICly and OOCly, descend into senseless evil as we have in the past.

Besides serving as a protect and enforcer for the larger coalition Argus Wake will also further their own study and practice of these dark arts. This shall stretch events centered around the recovery of artifacts of interest to character development through dark pacts with eldritch entities for power and favors.

We were strong once.

Every inch of land that fell beneath the shadow of Alterac’s frosty peeks was ours to command. Our ranks were favored above all others in the grand, twisted halls of our great Legion Lords.
Our spies were in every court and palace on every continent of this wretched planet.

We were on the cusp of victory.

Yet the actions of a few unmade us. With our leadership slain and our influence, like a common weed, uprooted our kind were forced to withdraw into the shadow from whence we came.

Yet death does not come to those loyal to the Legion.

At the hands of the few we were undone. And in the hands of the few once more we shall return. Beneath the leadership of those loyal to our cause we shall spread our corruption
through the lands. We shall become stronger. We shall become greater.

Then, now and forever. We are eternal and powerful.

Argus Wake
In Sargeras’ Name!
I'm guessing I should start on Fal'del's resurrection post.

EDIT: Never mind. Although, I might be able to remake Mak'ti to fix this.

EDIT2: Fit, not fix.

If I had a dollar for every-time I've heard that said before...

I was tempted to write it on Marianna's resurrection post.
I feel loved!
I feel Rui likes to join this, he hails from Alterac and might very well have been involved with the Argus Wake for some time.
Simply put.

I cannot wait to give you some healthy dose of purge. I will see you on the field of battle.

Saw the guild roleplaying. Pretty nice, again. I do not have gruntship yet. And neither do I have a Legion-lover character. I might make one. Not sure.
The spoiler-ed text has been modified.

As of now we are working on re-vamping for release soon.

Stay tuned, space cowboys.
I'm looking forward to this. I needed to find a reason for my Blood Elf Necro to join this and here is what I found.

A stepping stone to greatness? Excellent.
During the past week the Argus Wake guild has undergone a change of purpose.

We will also be following up on a pre-restart promise that, until recently, proved too difficult and time-consuming to fulfill:

Quote:“Post restart we will hold an event for each recruitment. Small and simple, these events will pit members against
realistic challenges that are equal part combat and equal part problem solving. In the end each player or a small group
of players will have their own events, specifically tailored to their characters and their soon-to-be roll in the guild.”

More information shall be forthcoming as it is created and approved!
